Two Years Later...

I walked in my high black heels and pencil skirt, a smile was evident on my face. I smiled as I laced my fingers with my daughter, wondering where my husband was, soon enough I felt his arms wrap around me as he nuzzled his face into my neck.

"You did it! I'm so proud of you...she would be proud of you too." He was hesitant to say the last part but I knew I had made her happy, wherever she is right now. I know she's proud, proud that I pulled through and gave myself the justice I deserve.

"Thanks Alex." I said giving him a quick peck before pulling back due to my son muttering the word 'gross' under his breath causing my daughter to giggle. I decided to call her and tell her I won the court case, my fingers itching to dial her. I put her number from memory, and bit my lip as it began to dial.

"Alison she's probably getting ready for another show." Alex reminded me, but I shook my head. Demi made me promise to call her when the court case ended.  Alex was from the tour, back when I was sixteen, Angel and him used to mess around but never got together since Angel is traveling the world with Luke. I reunited with Alex in the hospital after I attempted suicide, and he was the one who tried to help me remember. He was patient and somehow became the person who told me anything I wanted to know, and who I should trust. Even researching ever corner to tell me anything, and help me remember.

Third Person

"Alison..." Demi said letting out a breath as she walked with a confident stance nearing backstage, so she could hear Alison speak.

"We won Demi." Alison spoke gripping Alex's hand as she began to get emotional. After two years of fighting she finally got justice. Demi stood alone in her dressing room, trying hard not to scream at the news.

"What were their sentences?" Demi asked as she heard someone knock on her dressing room. "Give me minute." She said still awaiting Alison's answers.

"That is yet to be determined but justice was served." Alison cheered, remembering, although she never fully got her memory back, she knew that was actually a blessing, to forget the pain and suffering? That was the greatest thing to happen to her, and if she had any more questions she could ask Alex, Demi even Ryan who claims he is still in love with Alison. That feeling was reassuring, and it’s beautiful how she could feel secure in the arms of people she loves.

The suicide she tried to commit was because she felt so weak, but somehow she survived with a broken arm and both her legs broken. Demi and Alex were the ones to push her wheelchair, even Samantha and Drew visited, all of them rolling her wheelchair into therapy. She’s happy they did because she couldn’t do it on her own, and she wouldn’t be working as the CEO of her own company, with two beautiful children and a loving husband. I guess every story has a happy ending, though many don’t because Alison’s story has only reached the middle.

HEY GUYS!

Ok so as you all may know, I’m all about bad endings. In fact the original ending was Alison waking up in orphanage with the whole first chapter of My Nightingale replaying and it was all a dream. I was soooo tempted to write that ending because I knew it would get everyone angry but I love you guys so a happy ending it is.

I will publish that alternate ending BTW.

Well if you like this ending it can be the one you want, but if it’s not to you expectations I will publish the alternate ending and you can keep that as yours.

Thank you for reading.
