~Alison/Rose's POV~
"Rose I brought you cookies!" Maryanne said walking into my hospital room, holding brown bag.
"What kind of cookies?" I asked her and she smiled, handing the bag to me. Maryanne been visiting me everyday, and sometimes she stays nights. I don't know why she's so caring especially since we are strangers to each other. I don't complain and tell her to leave though because I really enjoy her company. We always talk about her life since I know nothing about mine, she told me she lives alone because her boyfriend broke up with her, she didn't seem sad about it but we still made fun of him and called him the Croc.
"What kind are these?" I said holding the black and white cookie in my hand.
"You don't know what Oreos are?" Maryanne said and I shook my head.
"Look take a bite, they are delicious." Maryanne said and I followed her command. I bit into the cookie and suddenly my mouth was invaded with flavor.
"Oh my god, these taste so good." I said and she nodded, while stealing one out of the bag.
"I know right, it's my favorite kind of cookie." Maryanne said and I put the rest of the cookie in my mouth, eagerly wanting to taste the cream.
"It taste better with milk." Maryanne said and I raised my eyebrows.
"Go get milk then." I urged her, shoving her towards the door.
"God Rose, you are so pushy." Maryanne said and I laughed. She's such a great friend, I stopped panicking over my lack of memory but I couldn't help but be curious why no one is looking for me.
Suddenly my doctor walked inside and smiled at me, she doesn't visit often. It's always that nurse Carla or some different nurse.
"Hello uh-" She began but struggled for my name.
"You can call me Rose." I said and she raised an eyebrow.
"Did you remember your name?" She asked and I shook my head, I always get this question with the nurses, I want to know what my real name is so bad but I'm gosh g to have to stick with Rose for now.
"No but Maryanne and I came up with a name that I could call myself." I said and the doctor nodded, like this happens often. I almost want to ask her if she knew anything about me, if its in that clipboard of hers.
"Well you are allowed to be discharged from the hospital." The doctor said and looked at her clipboard. "You can leave by yourself because you are over 18."
"How do you know that?" I asked and she pointed to my thumb, I looked and saw a tattoo of a date, with a bird near it.
"Your tattoo is two years old, and the legal age to get a tattoo is eighteen. So we inferred you are older than eighteen by now." The doctor said and I rubbed thumb over my tattoo, suddenly I got a headache as I remembered something. I was with a boy and some lady peeled back a bandage on my thumb to reveal the tattoo as I smiled in admiration.
"I-I got this on my seventeenth birthday." I said looking at the tattoo with my eyebrows scrunched up, it triggered a memory, maybe I have other tattoos as well.
"You remember?"
"Yeah I was with a boy, I-I don't know his name but I remember that day." I said and she began to scribble something down before she looked at me again.
"Well this is very good progress Rose." The doctor responded and I nodded as Carla, the nurse came behind her and began to remove the tubes from my arms. Maryanne had entered the room and looked at me happily, she set the two cartons of milk on my side table and jumped with joy.
"You can leave?!" She said and I nodded mirroring her excitement.
"Well she will have to find some sort of family. Otherwise we can't ensure her safety." The doctor said, I squinted at her name tag and saw her name was Barbara Williams.
"She can come live with me." Maryanne said and I grinned in her direction. I want to live with Maryanne because if my real family shows up I won't know them as much as I know Maryanne.
"Well I guess you can but we will need your information so we can check up on Rose." Dr. Williams said and I was surprised at how quickly she adapted to my new name.
"Of course." Maryanne said, as she winked at me and left with Dr. Williams. I looked down at my arm and gasped, pulling up the sleeve of my hospital gown and gazed at my upper arm. Right there was scrawled a word and I turned my arm a bit to read the word.

I felt goose bumps go up my arms as I stared at the scar. Suddenly a memory washed through my head and I gasped grabbing my head.
"You know how many mistakes you made today?" A man said, he was dressed in a plain white t-shirt, he looked about eighteen. He clenched his jaw and stared down at me, the look on his face gave me shivers.
"I-I'm sorry j-just let me clean-clean it up." I said in fear looking at the vase crashed on the floor, and he shook his head grabbing my arm and leading me to a basement door, he opened it and threw me down the stairs until I hit the floor. I groaned in pain as tears leaked from my eyes, my leg was in pain and I was fearful that I had broken it. I felt his footsteps thump down the stairs and I felt him grab a fistful of my hair and drag me somewhere. I yelled in pain and tried to pry his fingers from my head. The pain felt so real like I was there, I believed I was. I was tied down to table and I saw the stranger grab a knife and look at me.
"How many mistakes did you make?" He asked lightly trailing the knife on my forearm and I jerked away from the touch and closed my eyes, my heart was racing as he looked down at me.
"Answer me." He said and I gulped and opened my mouth.
"T-Ten." I answered and I felt the knife dig into my skin, like every vein was cut open and he moved it around a bit as I screamed in pain. Then he did the worse thing I could imagine and he dragged the knife down my skin. For the next few minutes the pain continued and I screwed my eyes shut.
"Open your eyes." He said and I snapped my eyes open, I looked around and saw I was laying on the floor and looked at the worried expressions around me.
"Rose! What happened? Are you ok?" Maryanne said grabbing my shoulders and I quickly grabbed her and pulled her in a hug. I was terrified of the pain I felt and how real it was. Who was that man?
~Demi's POV~
"Demi? Are you ok in there?" I heard Wilmer ask from outside our bedroom, I came in here to get ready for our date night but I zoned out when I saw the pair of shoes I bought with Alison.
"Y-Yeah sorry I zoned out for a bit." I said and I heard him sigh as he opened the door and walked in and sat next to me. It was normal for me to zone out, Wilmer sat beside me in the closet and took the black heels from my hands and threw them to the other side of the closet.
"Look Demi, you're not the only one who misses her." Wilmer said and I knew what he was talking about.
"I have so many unanswered questions." I replied back and he sighed pulling me into a hug.
"So do I, you think that I don't think about her? She was like a sister to me." Wilmer responded and I hugged him back.
"I just want to know if she's dead." I answered, if I knew I had a chance to get her back I would jump at that opportunity but if she's already gone then I could have some closure.
"You think I don't? I want to know if she's in trouble." He replied and I nodded taking in his scent.
"It hurts me to think I can't help her." I said truthfully and he kissed the top of my head.
"Let's just stay in tonight instead." He suggested and I smiled and agreed.
"I love you." I said shamelessly as he held me tighter.
"I love you too Demi." He answered back as I closed my eyes and held him closer, afraid that he would leave me too.
________
It felt empty without Demi in the book. So I decided to sneak in her point of view with Wilmer because they are so cute together.
I'm getting into this sequel, I've been writing non-stop lately. Maybe I will regularly update this?
