Burn me those radiant drops of rain water
And kill me with the rusty blade of fantasy
For I weep to see this trailing days get better
And a storm blows the world full of inadequacy
Though I may walk down home upon sea water and sink
And cast my sight on moon and sun when seconds count
I pour a splash on the airways, with every drop of my ink
Lost to the night creeping upon existence far and distant
Find the root of the rainbow after the rain
And grow me a yellow, red hibiscus flower
For my beauty is enshrouded in deep pain
And I can not see light, even from a tower
Yet I will never cease to smile for oblivion I will not flee
And place retina upon fire and sea when seconds count
For when this dreams and memories finally meet quietly
On my epitaph, please write for me "A life very well spent".
