Liam
"I'm so fucking tired of this!" I groaned. "We've searched everyday for the past three and a half weeks and nothing! Absolutely nothing!"
"It'll be okay Li," Louis said, rubbing my back.
"You don't know that, Louis," I said, sighing.
It had been exactly twenty three days since Niall went missing. I was a complete wreck along with Niall's family. Louis was halfway there. A few days before I had heard him crying in my bathroom, begging for Niall's return.
"I know I don't know that Liam," he said, "but you've got to trust that Niall's alright. For all we know, he could be happy where he is."
"Who the hell is happy when they're kidnapped?" I asked harshly.
"Lots of people, actually," Louis told me. "I've been doing research. There's this condition known as 'Stockholm Syndrome.' It's basically where a hostage begins to either fall in love with or become friends with their captor. It isn't a fully common phenomenon, but it happens a lot."
"That sounds so stupid."
"I know, but it happens."
"I doubt that would happen with Niall."
"You never know."
I rolled my eyes and turned over on my bed. I let a few tears stray down my cheeks as I thought about Niall. He had been my best friend since I started school. He was an amazingly nice young boy. Why would someone want to kidnap him?
I was pulled out of my thoughts when my phone started ringing. I groaned and turned back over.
"Lou," I said, "could you hand me my phone?" He nodded and grabbed my phone from my side table and tosses it to me.
"Hello?"
"Liam."
"N - Niall?"

"Harry we've got to do something," I said as I watched him sit there with paranoia present on his face.
"What do you mean?" He asked, turning his head towards me.
"You're afraid of Zayn," I pointed out. "You're so afraid of him that you're letting him take over your life. That isn't healthy, Harry! We could runaway, you know? Together, just me and you. What do ya say?"
"Niall I don't know..."
"I could call my friend Liam, get him involved. I'm sure he remembers you. If I explained everything to him, he'd understand. He'd probably help us. Harry, we could be happy together."
"Are you saying you like me?" He asked. I blushed and nodded. He smiled for a moment, then his face turned back to a frown.
"I don't know," he told me. "The police where out looking for you a couple of weeks ago. I haven't heard anything since then, but they still could be, and I'm pretty sure Liam is the one who got them involved."
"Look Haz, Liam will do anything to make me happy. You, for some weird, weird reason, make me happy."
"But Zayn's in a gang, Ni!" He said. "He could find us easy!"
"Look, I've got this planned in my head, Harry. Just trust me. Please?" Harry sighed and nodded.
"Fine, call him."
Harry handed me his phone and I smiled. I quickly dialed Liam's number since I remembered it by heart and pressed call. I waited as the phone rang four time then an answer came.
"Hello?"
"Liam."
"N - Niall?"
