Chapter 9 Hugo Runs Away

                                        Hugo packs himself some things into a suitcase, and writes his parents a quick note before he runs away from home.

                                       Dear Mom and Dad,

                                    I am sorry for all the pain I caused you.  Hopefully one day you will be able to forgive me.  I can not stay in Paris anymore.

                                     I feel in love with a pretty girl in my class, but she will never love me.  Not when I was cruel to her in the past and now it is to late.

                                      Another guy likes her and he is perfect for her.  I can never measure up to him. So with a heavy heart, I leave all this behind and start over somewhere else.

                                     I will look for a job, and try to find a new school to attend while I am away as well. I try my best to make you proud of me. Tell, my best friend Hank and my sister Elizabeth sorry for me.

                                        Hank, better not break my sister's heart because I happen to know she has a huge crush on him.  Shh, do not tell her I told you this since she thinks it is a secret her crush that is okay.

                                          Tell Ladybug if you ever see her that she and Rascal Racoon are a good team.  Tell Elizabeth to be patient that maybe someday Hank will notice her. She is only fourteen now after all.

                                           Tell everyone goodbye for me.  Tell Lavine, I want her to be happy and she will be good for Marcus.  I wish them the best.

                             He grabs up his suitcase, gets some cash, and goes to the train station before he can change his mind.

                   He pays the ticket person some cash to get out of Paris, and boards the plan with the few belongings he  chooses to take with him.

                        Shortly, after Hugo runs away, his parents call him to dinner and see a note from Elizabeth that says she is at friends house for the night. They smile when they see it. 

                          Then Marinette goes to check on Hugo, and gasps when she sees the note.   "Hugo, ran away!" Marinette says with tears in her eyes.

                            "What?" Adrien asks his wife.

                         "Look, the note explains it all,"  Marinette says.

                           Adrien reads it and he two feels himself tear up. They hug each other, unsure what to do now.

                         The next day, Adrien calls the police and tells them Hugo Duane Agreste, his and Marinette's son has run away from  home.

                    He goes on to tell them, his wife found a note the night before we he did not come to join them for supper. 

                         The police assure them they will do all they can to help out, then hang up.  Next, Marinette picks up the phone and calls Miss Bustier.
