That look in his eyes
As he asked me
If he would be alright

I could do nothing but lie
That one look
Just said so much
About how a man
Who once thought that he
Had conquered the world
Had finally realized that it would
Swiftly move on
Without even giving
A second thought about
Who he was
That one look told me that
In the end
Death conquers all.
