Raccoon City || (Leon Kennedy X Reader) BOOK 1

Chapter Twelve

"You two, up here." We follow her a few more steps until she lets a metal ladder attached to the bridge fall. I climb up, and wait for Leon to make it up here as well. I let Leon take the lead--well after Ada does of course. We walk, and Leon keeps questioning her, I mean..don't get me wrong I have questions I want answers to..but I rather get out of here first. We then enter the elevator, Ada stands next to the door on the far right, making me go to the left. I look as we shift  floors, waiting for our conversation to start up again.

"So let me get this straight: Umbrella sells monster like that to who? Our military?" Leon exclaims as he looks at her with curiosity. "Someone else's?" Ada then looks over at him.

"They don't sell the monsters, just the virus's that make them. And Annette makes the virus's. She's dangerous more than that alligator." I bite my lip, I then look towards Ada.

"Annette released this for a reason and we all know no permission was required to. Although my question still bugs me..as to why she's still here--in this city." The elevator doors open up, I quickly leave and start to walk, making Ada trail behind a bit.

I then go through a metal door, twisting the door knob and pushing it open. I walk through and see a woman, both Leon and I aim. Ada then slowly walks in behind us. 

"Identify yourself." Leon then stands in front of me, not wanting for me to get hurt. Ada then comes in with her pistol out, pointing at the woman as well.

"Annette Birkin. We're here for the G-Virus." I then walk beside Leon, seeing who she is. As I get a good look I realize where I've seen her face from. He eyes widen as she looks at me, she then shifts her focus to Ada.

"Not gonna happen." Annette says with ease, making a small smirk appear on her lips. I then look at Ada, knowing she's a threat. As I turn Annette throws a lighter or match onto the dead body. As she runs I quickly shove Leon a bit as I chase after her.

"Stop!" Ada yells as she trails behind me. I then see Annette with her pistol pointed at me, I quickly see the bullets fly by me, until I'm tackled to the ground.

"Y/N!" I hear as I tumble onto the ground, I groan and look down at Leon. I see blood flowing out of his gunshot wound. Ada covers us as she keeps trying to shoot Annette, I stare at the wound trying to put pressure on it with my hands. 

"Leon..." I turn and see Ada kneel down, as I apply pressure she tries to help me. I quickly rip a piece of my shirt, making my midriff exposed. I plug up the wound and keep putting pressure. 

"Ada get that scientist, I'll cover him." She tries to fight with me, but I yell at her. "Just go!" She then runs off. Leaving her coat with me, I then see Leon almost about to faint, I lightly slap his face. "Hey...hey don't leave me..you said it yourself we're getting out of here together." He coughs as I wrap his arm up with Ada's coat.

"Go and help Ada.." I watch as his eyes close, making me feel horrible. As I patch him up I realize that the bullet didn't hit his heart. I quickly finish cleaning his arm and wrapping it up, I use all my body strength to lift him up. As I sit him up on the wall I use Ada's coat and cover him up. I let my hand take control of me and grab his face. I let my thumb trail his cheek bone, making me feel sad. My father told me to not get close to anybody, especially if I get feelings for them. I take my hand away from him, letting things get to me again.

I shake my head and stand up, I look around and know I have to find Ada. I check the ammo on my weapons and quickly start walking away from Leon's sleeping body.
