We try to hold are ground, feeling the entire bridge shake from the sudden drop. As we keep our stance strong, we both whip out our pistols. We hold the trigger as the monster also sets into the ground with us. I watch the door behind us, making my eye follow Leon's pocket, I then notice Leon staring at me.

"I'm guessing you have a plan?" He says, not peeling his eyes away from the massive thing. I then slowly step back one-by-one, snatching the key card quickly from his uniform pocket.

"When I say go, I'll scan the key card and you run through. You know we don't have time for this, we need to get to the greenhouse and the main bridge." He then shakes his head, following my steps.

"No, you'll be the bait in this situation! Let me do it--" I look over and slowly put away my gun, I then hold the key card steadily.

"Too late, now GO!" I swipe the key card, making the machine respond with a simple beep. As Leon runs in, I watch the one eyes monster running towards me. I quickly turn into the crease of the door, watching it almost close on me. As I enter my coat gets stuck in between, before I could think I grab my knife and cut the piece off.

As I finish cutting I get thrown back, the monster was grabbing onto it. I fall back, making Leon yell my name. I close my eyes preparing to hit the ground until I feel arms around me, I slowly flutter my eyes open and look up. I stare into Leon's eyes, seeing his worried expression, before I could say anything I feel a stinging pain. I wince, but not loudly, the pain wasn't as bad as my head. I look and see a cut on my palm, Leon put his hand over it by accident, I then see Leon notice the blood.

He quickly sits me up and grabs the cloth from the ground, he wipes off any dirt upon it. I quickly watch as he kneels, before letting me speak he places a white pad on my palm. I breathe through my teeth, not expecting the pain. I then stare at my palm, seeing the blood soak through the pad.

"I told you that you would be bait, I didn't want you to get hurt--" I quickly hold onto his wrist tightly, trying to hold back and yelps.

"Forget about it...you have more of a chance to survive than me. You have something to live for, or just anything honestly." I chuckle out of irony, he silently removes the pad and starts wrapping the cloth.

"After all of this is done, you are coming and staying with me. Sure, you can say I have something to live for, but don't we all? We are doing this together, which makes us leave here together." He tightens the knot, he helps me up, holding onto my other uninjured hand. I feel his hand on the lower part of my back.

"Thanks...although you're still a flirt." I smirk and playfully punch his arm, making him smile. We walk out together, feeling a sense of happiness through all of this. As we walk, we make our way towards another office. I walk in and start looking through papers, Leon then makes his way towards me, placing down a file. I open it and look through as he talks about it.

"Turns out there's a bracelet we need to crack open the rest of the bridges. I think I saw it on a man, he was stuck on the glass window." I hum in agreement, he then continues to speak. "Listen, you need a break from all of this. I could get the bracelet and meet you back here, while you look for a way to get into the greenhouse." I quickly change my focus onto him, I then rest my arms onto the desk.

"You're insane if you think you're going alone. I can't just leave you to find the bracelet all by yourself." He looks at the files, then back to me.

"I'll be quick, and I don't need to find it, cause I already know where it is." I sigh, and watch his expression turn cold. "Please, let me do this." I look back to the unread files, as I look up, I realize it's only fair since I pulled a stunt on my own.

"You better come back in 30, or I will hunt you down"
