     Jesy has to leave pretty early the next morning. Jade comes to get her, looking like she hasn't slept a wink, and I pull her into a hug.

"I think she's okay," I whisper. "Well, she'll be okay. Just keep an eye on her, yeah?"

"Of course," Jade says, giving me a tight hug back.

Jesy makes sure to hug and thank my mother, and then kisses me soundly on the porch before she leaves.

I pinch her bum as she walks away,winking at her when she turns back looking a little shocked.

I give her a tiny wave and blow her a kiss.

She shakes her head at me, blowing me a smiling kiss in return.

Once Jes leaves, mam talks about how wonderful she is for nearly an hour. I'd stop her, but I'm inclined to agree. And if I have anything to say about it, Jes will be in my life for the rest of forever. So it's ideal that me mam feels this way about her, really.

I spend the rest of the day at mam's before returning to my apartment.

My apartment that I haven't seen in 7 weeks.

It's still messy from my frantic packing pre-trip, and I can't be bothered to deal with it right now. Instead I rummage through the cupboards until I find a bag of admittedly stale chips, and plop down into the sorry excuse of a beanbag chair in the corner of my tiny living room.

I watch videos on my phone as I stuff my face.

I miss u, I text Jesy. Is that needy? Yes. Pathetic, even? Absolutely. But, I don't care. I'm absolutely smitten.

Miss you, babe, she replies quickly. At least we're both as pathetic as each other. I wish you were here:/

I could take an Uber?;) I reply.

I wish, she repeats. I'm at the costumer. We're a good couple hours outside of the city. be gone by the time u got here.

Ugh, I say.

She doesn't reply right away, but she is having fittings, so I don't think much of it. I know she'll reply when she has the chance.

I dink around on my phone for a few more minutes before I text Leigh, hoping she'll be down to catch up a little early.
