Letters from the boy next door (COMPLETE)

New years

Last chapter guys! I hope that you all like it.

It was finally New Years. The night was only just beginning. I sat anxiously, I was actually going to tell Roman tonight. Maybe even get my first kiss. Not much had happened yet, I can tell Romans anxious about it too. I might be getting my first kiss, and Romans finding out that the love of his life loves him too. Yes I know for a fact that I'm the love of his life, or he might've been lying. Well, one of the slips in the jar said that. I don't know. Patton and Logan were coming, I was running around cleaning while Roman cooked something. He wouldn't tell me what but said I will like it. When I said running it was a lose term. I'm still in a brace, they said I have to have surgery for it soon too. They thought it was going to heal by itself but it hasn't so far. So next week I have to get surgery. I'm kinda nervous but also not. I mean there's many things that could go wrong but there's also the chance of getting my leg back to normal. I finished cleaning up the table, it had a lot of junk on it.

"Verge?" I hear Roman call from the kitchen.

"Yeah?" I yell back. I walk over and see him still cooking.

"Are you gonna tell me today or later tonight?" He asks, looking down at a book.

"Depends on what happens" I laugh, "you'll find out soon don't worry" I hear the front door open and walk over.

"It's fucking freezing!" Dimitri says walking in.

"Good to know, how about you close the door so it stays warm?" He laughs closing the door.

"Whatever pipsqueak" he walks in ruffling my hair.

Not long after, Dimitri arrived, everyone else did. Well Patton, Logan and Remus. We all sat around the living room playing spoons. We altered the game though. We have to hold the spoon for ten seconds. I focused in on the game,

"Everyone ready?" Roman asked him being the one at the start. I sat next to him with Patton after that, Logan sat alone but close to Patton, and Dimitri and Remus sat next to each other. We all hummed our responses, the cards were soon being give to me.

Most of the games we played so far were card and board games. So we decided to play truth or dare. It was nearing close to around 11:30. We started to play truth or dare of all games.

"Patton! Truth or dare?" Remus asked excited. Patton hesitated, he hasn't chosen dare this whole game. He was coming close to the limit of truths they all agreed on. Roman snickered.

"Okay fine dare" Patton said slowly. We all got excited ready to hear his dare.

"I dare you, to kiss your crush right before the ball drops" Remus snickered, "I'm honing easy on you Pat" Patton groaned I don't think he finds this a fun game anymore.

"What are we? Middle schoolers!" I laughed.

"Okay, well, Dimitri! Truth or dare!" Patton asked, basically bouncing in his spot. Dimitri seemed surprised.

"Hm well, dare"

"Okay! Well I dare you to give everyone a hug!" Patton giggled.

"Pop star, that's not really a dare you know" I said accusingly. Others laughed with me.

"I know" Patton said sadly, "but I don't have anything good"

The game of truth or dare went by pretty normal, and before we knew it, it was 11:50. We gathered around my living room, some stood, some sat. Roman was next to me and we waited for the ball drop. Me and Roman stood because I was tired of sitting. You could tell Roman was anxious and I felt bad. But we only had a few minutes until the New Year. The room was quite loud in my opinion everyone was talking, laughing, just being loud. The ball soon came into the screen and we turned to watch it. The count down then started.

"Ten!" We all said counting down with it.

"Nine"

"Eight"

"Seven"

I smiled over to Roman, I pulled him closer to me. "You ready for your answer?" He nodded quickly. I chuckled. I cupped his cheeks.

"One!"

I softly kissed him. He was stunned. But he pulled me in for another. We stayed there kissing. It felt so nice, his lips were very soft compared to mine.

"That was better than an answer" He said pulling away. We both smiled.

How was that guys! That's the end of this book! I'm making some more books soon though! I don't know how soon you'll be seeing the new book but I think it will be soon. Also if you want a sequel to this just comment you do! I have an idea for it but it will be shorter. I was thinking of showing you guys what Dimitri went through. So yeah! Bye~!
