Every chord,
Every tone,
Strikes a cord,
That forms my soul.
Deep and fragile,
Setting in motion,
Emotions I shouldn't feel.
Numbing the pain of the body,
And connecting me,
To a world where,
I wouldn't be judged.
Where my shortcomings,
Are lost to the wind,
Where each rhyme,
Makes me feel.
Where each tide calms,
And roars in turbulence.
When I experience what it means,
To be human.
