Part 8: We Need To Talk

(This is mostly dialogue, sorry about that!)

We finally arrived at the place I've been camping at. I set Nagi down carefully and sat down next to him. I got out the medical supplies in my backpack and began treating his wounds. 

(P.O.V change as always)

"Y/NNNNN wanna talk??" I asked in a childlike voice. "About what?" 
"Well...  do you mind if I rant a bit?" She smiled. "Yeah.. I always love it when you do."
"Well... how do I start this... I'm sorry... for everything.." She cocked her head. "Cause of me you lost use of one of your hands... and I marked you... I'm not even sure if I should regret it.. I mean.. I'm happy that I did because it shows your mine.. but you.. you got hurt. Say... how are you managing with the cuts?" 
"The stomach ones?"
"Yeah.."
"I've dealt with pain worse than this Nagi.." 
"Please don't remind me..." 
"Ah sorry!" she apologized. "It's fine love, I know you can't help but mention it sometimes,... I'm so honored... that you saved someone as lowly as me.." 
"Ko you're not-"
"I know, I know... but really Y/N you're my savior.. You freed me from the chains of despair that had a constant hold on me ever since I was born. From the one's she set." 
"Who's she?" Y/N asked. I sighed. "The owner of the other hand... a person we both despise." 
"W-wait.. are you talking about Junko?!" she exclaimed. "Y-yeah... god I hate hearing her name.." Y/N looked enraged. "What did that bitch try to do to you!?" 
"She wouldn't let me go... she's the reason I had to leave you... I'm so sorry I was gone so long... It's all her fucking fault! She kept me away from you! For so long.. so damn long.." 
"Why did you stay??"
"I had no choice, she threatened to kill you if I didn't do as she said. She taunted me with photos of you, you looked so happy with other people.. I... she convinced me to kill them.. I killed so many people Y/N.. even more after she set me free..."
"When did that happen?" 
"After 8 months... I went on a rampage.. convinced killing was the only way to get you back in my arms once again." She put her hand on mine, "Nagi... I'm so sorry... I didn't know.." 
"It's okay.. there's no way you could've known." Suddenly a TV in the back of the room sprang to life. "H-huh?? I thought that thing didn't work anymore..." Y/N stated. On it played old news footage,"Has anyone seen this man?" the TV said. Up popped a photo of.. me... "He is estimated to have killed over 154 people, his work is... parents if your kids are watching I suggest you turn the channel off." Y/N turned her head towards me, "N-nagi?!" Another image flashed on screen, 10 mutilated bodies were spread across the ground. In the background there was a wall, on it the phrase "Where are you Y/N?" was drawn in the victims blood."Please if anyone has any info on his whereabouts contact us. And whoever Y/N is.. please stay safe, run from him, he is a danger to society and you." The TV then flickered off. "Y-you really killed all of those people..?"
"Yeah.." I admitted, "Probably more.. since that was old"
"H-how?"  
"Baby did you forget about the whole world going to shit and back? It's easy to kill when the world is already in chaos... I just wanted to have you in my arms again... hey wait, is what Junko said really true?"  
"What?" she softly said. "That you would leave me.. if I ever expressed my true emotions... you would leave me.. and if I didn't continue killing... then you would leave..."  She looked shocked. "No! I would never!"  My expression softened, "Y/N... thank you darling.. I have so much to say;;"
"Tell me it all." she said stroking my hand with her thumb. "I... I love you so much! I wanted to die when I wasn't with you. But now you're here! My hope is finally here... Y/N you... you saved me. Your hope is so strong! Ahahaha it has to be! You must be the ultimate hope! Ah but you fit so many other titles as well..."
"Ko.. I'm not an ultimat-" 
"Ult humble? Nah that doesn't work." 
"Nagi! I'm not! If anything you are!"
"Me? Ultimate hope? No, no Y/N... I could never.." 
"Yes you can!!" 
"Y/N! You don't get it! You mean more to me than anyone else in the world. I'd gladly lose everything for you. I'd endure the greatest despair in the name of your shining hope! You are truly my angel and I love you more than you'll ever know.. I love you so much Y/N," Damn I'm getting emotional... "Wait.. angel.. That's it! It's perfect Y/N! My ultimate angel!! She gasped. "You're using that title you 'bestowed' upon me all those years ago?"
"Yeah!" I beamed. "It fits you perfectly!"
"Nagi.."
"Yes my lovely angel?" She's blushing so much... how cute!  "I love you." she said. "I love you forever more my sweet angel~" 

(Idk about you guys but to me that was wholesome as fuck. And keep in mind the whole ultimate angel thing. It'll appear later :))
