Part 4: Yo Girl (Keep it Together)

"Nagito let me go!!" I screamed. God the pain... "Nagi!!" I whined. "Sssssh we're almost there.. stay still, it'll hurt less."  Oh yeah.. I let Nagi carry me. "Good girl..." he muttered.  After a while we were in a stadium. "W-what the..." Nagi carried me to the stands. "Let's sit love~" 
"Okay??" He slowly put me down in a seat. I screamed and he winced. "Sorry darling, forgot about that, you okay??" I shook my head. In response he kissed me. "I love you, you know, I didn't deserve to mark you as my own but I'm so glad I did. Whenever you look at it, you'll remember how much I love you." 
"Nagito... I-" Just then the new girl who I learned was named Komaru ran into the stadium.  With her was another girl I didn't know. "Nagi? What's going on?" He clapped his hands together, "The main event!!" We saw Masaru step onto stage with a remote device in his hand. The crowd exploded in applause. So much noise ;-;. I held onto Nagito's arm and scooted closer to him. Fear overwhelmed me, and I couldn't place exactly why. Yo girl, keep it together. I knew you would come far. "Y/N watch,"
"I'm the super duper hero of the Warriors of Hope! The lil ultimate P.E! Masaru Daimon!!" The crowd cheered. "I won't let you escape demon!" 
"W-what the hell?? What's with this dorky lil brat?" the new girl said. I looked over at Nagi, he looked so... excited? I don't understand.. "I-it's him! He's one of the kids who put this wrist band on me!" Komaru said.

 (Okay explanation time, skip if ya want, anyone with the wristband is referred to as a demon and is targeted by the kids. The wristband tracks their location at all times and is kinda rigged to explode if the user tries to escape the island. The wristband signifies that she's a demon to be hunted, oh and the kids hate the adults. The demons in their eyes are the adults. The reason why Nagito's and Y/N aren't adults in their eyes is because Nagi kinda gave his life to them and Monaca is a evil bitch sooo yeah, and he made a deal with Monaca to save Y/N as well. Hope that clears some stuff up?)

Shit! I blanked out... Nagito's looking at me, like he's expecting something.. "You okay?" he asked. "Fine, I'm just fine!" Liar.. He looked at me, doubt in his eyes. He was about to speak up when all of a sudden Masaru spoke up. "Did you freak out?? Oh you totally did! Pathetic! Just like I always say, stupid little girls with no wieners are total cowards!"
"W-w-wieners!?" the girl screamed. "Th-that kids.. he said wiener.. Wiener!? J-just like that!"
"Alright! Brace yourselves demons!" 
"Nagi;;;" I whined. "Y/N? What's wrong?" 
"Brace for what?" Komaru softly said. "Isn't that obvious? This is the killsuem!! I'm gonna kill you!"
"K-kill?!" me and Komaru exclaimed. I started shaking. "Y/N what's-?" 
"You adults are demons.. you're our enemies.. enemies of kids.." Masaru started. "That's why.. I'm gonna hunt every last one of you!" 
"Nagi!" I screamed. 
"Y/N! I'm here!" He sounded so scared. For me.. "We'll make a paradise just for children in this city!" The crowd cheered. I clung onto Nagi desperately. Now you're truly a heather, smell how gangsta you are. "N-nagi.." Yo girl, feel a bit punchy? You're not looking so well. "H-help.." Come join heather in hell! Pain seared throughout my body. I screamed in agony. "Y/N!?" Masaru opened a hatch which poured out dead bodies. "Wh-what??" 
"All the demons he's hunted.." Nagito said before turning his attention back to me. "Just because they birthed and raised us, they thought they could control us! As hero, I hunted them all down so that everyone could go free!" The crowd roared. "Ho-how could you do this!?" Komaru screamed. "N-nagi... he-help;;" I was crying terribly. "T-this can't happen.." 
"What?" he asked. "You see!? Everyone loves me! They appreciate me! Because I'm their hero.. If I.. hunt down every single demon then nobody has to be afraid anymore!" He was furious. Why does he have good intentions!? He killed so many people for this???!  "Y/N??" came Nagi's concerned voice. "I-I won't... be.. afraid.. I'm t-the hero... I'm not.. scared.. at all.. I don't hafta be scared of t-the.. dark and pain and alcohol smell.. Not an-anymore!" Then it hit me. This kid... "Y/N watch, okay? I want to show you how your hope outshines his despair!" 
"No matter how much you beat me, I won't be afraid anymore!" Masaru shouted. "Nagi.. he-"
"Not gonna.. be... afr..aid" He was shaking terribly. Nagito simply smiled. The Masaru begun hitting himself. "No!" I screamed. How could Nagi watch this!? I have to do something! I sprang up and ran to Masaru, I jumped over the guard rail and staggered. "Y/N!!!" Nagito yelled. "M-masaru stop!!!" I begged. "Stupidstupidstupidstupidstupid!" 
"Masaru!!" I fell over in front of the new girl and Komaru. "P-please no!" I saw Nagi jump over the guard rail with... my bow!? He has my bow!??? Where did he- The whole ground rumbled. I looked up to see a massive robot. "I'm not afraid!" Masaru yelled. "Protect her now!" Nagito shouted at Komaru and the girl. "Huh!?" Komaru suddenly jumped in front of me, megaphone in hand. "Protect Y/N!" You don't know me... so why?? Then Nagito got beside Komaru. "Stay behind me Y/N." I tried to push myself up but my arms gave out under me. I watched as Nagi, Komaru and the other girl fought the robot. Two protecting me for unknown reason and one trying to save his love.. I rolled over and hugged myself, crying. The fight seemed to be in their favor from what I could tell. Nagito looked pissed, brought out a gun and begun relentlessly attacking the robot. Komaru and who I learned was named Toko were helping him. But then something happened. Nagito was hit by the robots shield and thrown across the arena. I screamed for him. Suddenly a loud crash was heard as the robot fell down. Komaru ran over to me, "Help her up!" Toko nodded and came running. Together they held me up. "N-nagi..."
"Nagi? Wait that cut on your stomach... is that what he did to you!?" 
"Well yeah, since he seems to be this 'Nagi' she's talking about." Toko muttered. I looked over at Nagito who wasn't moving. "N-no! N-n-nagi!!" I cried. "Toko we should help-"
"Nuh uh! Noooo w-way! He's the b-b-bad guy! Why should w-we-" 
"C'mon Y/N, we'll help you." 
"What!?" Toko screamed. "Please Toko!" Komaru begged. "...fine..." We slowly made our way over to Nagito, midway I couldn't handle it anymore and ran to him. I fell down right in front of him. "N-nagi!? Nagi wake up!! Please wake up!!"  Komaru and Toko watched me in silence. "Nagi!!" 
"Agh... Y-Y/N?" 
"Nagi! Oh my god!! Nagi!!" He gave a weak smile, "Yo-you're okay... Y/N..." His hand slowly moved up to my cheek. I brought my hand up to meet his. "I- I was so scared... yo-you weren't moving..." 
"Y/N, I'm okay... just.." he laughed, "a little sore.." He wiped the tears from my eyes. "I love you.." I whispered. His smile grew upon hearing that. "I love you too.." he whispered back. "Um.. excuse me?" Komaru asked. I turned around just as Nagito death stared Komaru. "W-what happened to that kid? Why did you try to help him?"
"He was disposed of." Nagito spat. "I...I felt bad for him, he's just a kid-"
"Who murdered countless people." Toko pointed out. "But bad things happened to him! He had a reason-" Nagi kissed my neck, "Y/N let's go." he said. "Huh? But aren't you hurt!?" He laughed, "I'm fine! Really! Now let's go continue this date."
"Date!?" Komaru and Toko exclaimed. Nagito sighed, "Ignore them love." Nagi shakily got up and offered and hand to me. I accepted it and he pulled me up. No matter what... I'll always love you Nagito..
