Personality: If you were asked to describe Naida in a couple of words, the first that would come to mind are "grounded" and "resolved". Naida, while possessing the fortune of her lineage, is amazingly humble and well-mannered. She has accepted her place in life, putting her trust in fate to lead her wherever she may go. Naida isn't the one to have many friends, instead preferring a small group of close knit friends. Naida isn't as outgoing as others, but that doesn't mean she is unfriendly. If you come to her, she will open up her quiet and frosty exterior and will reveal her warm and loyal inside. She is bluntly honest, often to the point of offensive, and sticks to her morals like glue. If she sees something, she won't hesitate to say it, and won't apologize if they find a problem with it, because in her words (which aren't often, but when she speaks, it means a lot), "You can't find offense in what simply is." Naida often spends her time pursuing the hobby of the acoustic guitar and reading through the books in her house's library. Her favorite sport is ping-pong, which you wouldn't expect her to be good at. Naida, while not good at cracking jokes of her own, finds humor in any type of joke and loves to laugh (she has a weird snort-laugh which she is slightly embarrassed about). So, all in all, Naida just aims to have a good time, make a few friends, have some delicious food, and maybe make a headline or two. She aims to have a good time, and if that means finding love, then so be it
Likes/Dislikes:
+Fine culture: Naida appreciates the arts, and likes to share her opinions of the newest art piece or a symphony from the 1800s. She can spend hours on end just appreciating a piece (Fun fact: Naida has some earbuds and an unbranded music transmitting device wherever she goes, in case she is bored or needs to drown out some noise)
+Wildlife: Despite the populated area Naida lives in, she has a soft spot for plants and animals, no matter furry, scaly, or feathery. She visited the zoo when she was six with her family and that fascination never faded.
+Books: More than half of the time, you will see Nadia with a head in her book, reading about far off lands and dragons that breathe fire, and not even she knows how she got into reading- she just picked up a book one day and never put it down.
+Horoscopes: Seemingly unrelated to the likes mentioned above, this might come as a surprise. Naida has always had a fascination for astrology and these unrelated star patterns at first glance that form scarily accurate results about her own personal life. Every time her family gets the Sunday post, she grabs it to see her horoscope (her star sign in Taurus, she proudly exclaims)
-People who deceive: Naida's honesty is one of her defining characteristics, which makes her despise people who lie. Unless they have some good reason they would be willing to explain o a fuming Naida, she absolutely dislikes those types of people.
-Losing someone she cares about: Naida gets attached easily, no matter how her stony exterior might conceal that fact, and she is greatly affected emotionally when she loses someone she has formed a bond with, like a friend, family member, or pet.
-Exposing herself: Naida is emotionally stable for the most part, and likes to keep it that way. Every person has their limit, and when Naida reaches that limit,  she snaps at someone, or on the flip side, starts tearing up. She really dislikes showing that sensitive side of herself to others, fearing their opinion of her might be changed.
-Teasing: Naida dislikes teasing, no matter if it is jokingly or not. It might just be a weird peeve she has, but teasing to her can be harmful even if it is meant jokingly, and no matter how close the people that are teasing are together, there is always a chance that might act harmfully on an emotional level, and Naida won't stand for it.
Selection Thoughts: Naida doesn't pertain either way, seeing the Selection as a new opportunity, that, whether it be good or bad, fate has assigned her to participate. She wishes well upon the other Selected, as well as the royals, that they may find love within each other, not only for the stability of the kingdom but also for the well-being of each person involved in this times-old tradition.
Which Royal/Why: Naida, while having to admit that each royal is good-looking, doesn't want to rush into any relationships or make any hasty decisions, so she would prefer to wait and get to know the royals before making a decision.
District: Valencia
Backstory: Naida grew up as an only child under the noble family of Browne. Her parents doted on her, sure, but also raised her well, with limits and manners. Naida is grateful for this. The Brownes have always been a subject of the media, and because of this they are often invited to dinner parties and balls, and while her parents encourages her to become extroverted and the center of attention, Naida always drifted towards the sides of the room, watching while the lords and ladies of Aspen talked and danced. This didn't make Naida any worse of a person, in fact she actually became more self reflective and humble because of this. Her family are known humanitarians, and she is no different, working towards the good of the less fortunate as best as she can for a teenager. A lot f the noble families automatically enroll their children in the Selection, and Naida didn't take the whole idea seriously (cause what are the chances that she will be picked?) until her name was broadcasted as a Selected. Naida considers herself excited for the events ahead.
Other:
-Naida attempted horseback riding in her youth, but broke her arm after falling off of a particularly anxious mare. It is safe to say she has not pursued horseback riding since.
-Guitar is one of Naida's hobbies, and she wishes to become a guitarist full time.
-Her favorite type of flower is a pink carnation, and she keeps a bouquet in a vase in her room.
-Naida has had a previous relationship with a girl in the past, but they ended on peaceful terms as they fell out of love with each other. (Naida will never admit it, but she fears getting into a relationship and it ending because the other person doesn't love her anymore because of that breakup)
