personality; jodie is a quiet person, often fading into the background. for an aspiring fashion designer, she is awfully introverted and shy. she likes to spend time in her room alone, playing music when she isn't crushed by honors and ap homework. the curses of being smart. she bites her tongue more often than not and likes to keep her opinions to herself, thinking no one really needed to know nor would listen. but often than that, she is good natured despite her faults, and in what she says, she means it. she can get bitter when she is faced with opposition, and has a dark sense of humor. she and elly seemed to click as soon as they met, though, the other's bright personality complimenting her grounded demeanor. she gets constantly friend zoned tho—
background; jodie was a realatively quiet girl, and didn't have many friends throughout middle school. the ones she did have she never really tried much with, and they drifted away. but jodie was fine with that, she focused on her grades and the passion for fashion design she has had since she was four and tried to match make clothes for her barbie dolls. in seventh grade, the sunshine known as elly regina came into her life. the two opposites seemed to click, and they became amazing friends. by the second year of high school, jodie had come to terms with the fact that she was bi and in love with her best friend, but never had the courage to tell her. she supported her friend through her struggles with her disease, and often accompanied her places and helped her when she forgot important tasks. she signed up as a volunteer partially for extra credit, and works closely with the support group because her friend is in it.
