"what?" she groaned, angry. her eyes still closed.
"i'm going to the gym. i'll be home in two hours." i didn't go to the gym though.

normal pov
annie woke up just ten minutes after hayden left, since layla ran into hers and hayden's room and sawyer cried, hearing the sudden noise.
annie pumped as layla played with her toys and sawyer was napping. "momma? can we go visit mommy?" layla asked, playing with her dolls. annie talked with hayden and they decided that layla should know about her mommy, and that she'll always be her mommy. so since sawyer was born, they've been visiting celeste's grave and layla would bring flowers, and talk.
"of course. go pick some flowers for her." layla got up and ran outside, picking flowers from the backyard.
"hey mom." annie answered her phone.
"oh hey honey. are you guys free today?" katie asked.
"actually, we're going to celeste's tombstone today. then shopping. why?" annie asked, finishing pumping.
"oh, did you not see the date?" annie completely forgot.
"i'm sorry mom. i'll tell hayden to take her and sawyer. i'll meet you there." annie said, a tear falling from her eye. it's been 8 years already.
annie dropped off the kids with tisha, and left, wearing her black pantsuit and blazer. she went onto the flight.
