they all came back, then roe and calum ended up leaving at the same time.

luke spent the night in valeries room with her, and it seemed weird that ashton actually trusted her in a bed or even a room with a boy alone.

she wasn't a slut, but ash was just very protective of his sister. he always was protective, and that bothered her.

"goodnight, love." luke said as he closed his eyes and put an arm around her, them ending up in the same position her and calum were in before everyone came back. the only part she didn't like was that he wasn't calum.

she didn't like calum or anything, she just wanted to know more about him since they barely knew each other.

"wait," she said quietly and looked up at him. "what are we? i know why you're breaking up with roe, but, what will we be?"

"what do you want to be?" he asked and valerie immediately shrugged. she did want to know, but had no idea what she wanted them to be, since there was calum.

"i don't know. but, i'm sorry." she said and brought her eyes back to the front of her. "goodnight, luke."

luke was gone by morning, and valerie stayed asleep for about another hour after that. he had left a note taped to her phone that had awoken her because of messages or calls from someone, just because of her vibrating being loud.
