"i thought you liked me somewhat." calum decided to ignore the question and upset her more than she needed to be. "don't fucking kiss someone's cheek and act all sweet when you don't have any feelings for them. you mess with their hearts."

"don't act like this is my fault!" she practically yelled, her face beginning to turn red. "you can say that i may have fooled with you but i didn't intend to do that. it was you who decided to like me when we just met each other and that's what bothers me. you can't love someone within like, sevent-"

valerie wasn't counting the hours, just in her head, it was a guess. that guess quickly disappeared as calum grabbed her wrists and pulled her forward, pecking her lips just enough to make her burn up with anger and love, oddly enough.

"if you're this fucking mad at me for liking you then you don't have to be friends with me." he said and stood up, "sorry i find you interesting and cute and funny. all i wanted to do was get to know you, for fucks sake."

he waved at her before walking out of her bedroom and closing the door behind him, loudly, might i add.

she heard another door open and close, then a giggle that was so familiar that for once she felt glad to have a boy in her house.

quickly, she stuck her head out of her bedroom to see if calum was still there. and he wasn't, he had just left the house and she felt so glad. "ashton," she said and sighed, looking up to avoid tears, "can you come here?" she asked and he immediately turned all his attention to her, a happy expression turning into a worried expression.

he quickly walked to her and then hugged her tightly. "what the hell did calum do to make you cry?"

she just leaned into her brothers chest for a moment until she finally sighed, then spoke up. "he blamed me because he apparently has feelings for me. i kissed his fucking cheek once and he says it's my fault i played with his feelings."

"didn't michael co-"

"yes!" she whined and bit onto her lower lip, trying her damn hardest to hold everything back. "he told me that he messes up relationships and that i should push him away yet that's mean and im never mean. plus, he doesn't seem like a bad guy he is just being rude about this."

ashton nodded as she pulled from the hug. "okay, valerie, ill get luke and then i can go lecture calum or something." he smiled at her a bit and lightly kissed her forehead.

"wow, you're stupid." she said and rolled her eyes, playfully. "and make sure to tell luke that he doesn't need to act like my boyfriend when he's here. it's annoying sometimes."

she walked into her room and pulled out her phone, looking at the single message she received.

cal-pal now: fuck

val irwin now: asshole

calum hood now: liar

val irwin now: ok that is a fucking lie

calum hood now: no it isn't

val irwin now: yes it is !!! you know it is. you just don't want this to be your fault so when things are fucking normal and we're happy friends you can fuck it up and actually blame it on yourself because that's what you do. you label stuff on other people until it's your turn

calum hood now: who told you all of that?

val irwin now: clifford. he didn't tell me that you label everything else on other people and wait your turn. it's just a guess.

calum hood now: he's a dick, you're a dick, everyone is a dick.

calum hood now: fuck him fuck you fuck everyone

calum hood now: im just gonna come over sometime because this text is fucking worthless when it comes to arguments. worthless as in everyone to see the face of this earth.
