YOU WANT TO BE WHAT?

Chapter 9

"Hello" one says & waves really quickly with a big smile walking out of the elevator. The rest give a small smile & walk down the hallway..this is a co-ed dormitory but I wonder where they were going. Lou is at the bar with Liz & everyone else..weird.

I shrug it off & get onto the elevator. I push level 1 & before the doors close someone stops it & gets in.

"Sorry" he says & smiles.

I smile back & the doors close. He glances at me quickly & looks away. I could feel that he wanted to say something but nothing comes out.

"Uh you're pretty" he says after a couple seconds & rubs the back of his neck.
I laugh a little & say thank you to him. That's random.

"I'm Jacob" he says & reaches out his hand. I shake his hand, "I'm Y/N" I say & give him a small smile. We let go & it gets quiet again. We reach level 1 & I walk out first. 

"Nice meeting you Jacob, see you around" I say & wave at him. He waves back & goes the opposite direction. He was so adorable, he looked like one of Lou's friends.

I walk outside & run into Lou. My luck.

"You look good today" Lou says looking me up & down. I get a little nervous & don't say anything. I walk past him & hear him following me. I go around the corner in hopes he wouldn't follow but he does. I turn around to face him.

"Please stop following me" I say & turn back around walking again. I take about a couple steps until I feel him grab my right arm & pull me into a small alley near the campus courtyard. I get tense at his touch & suddenly I'm against the wall. He looks down at me & his eyes go from my lips to my eyes. At this moment I'm holding my breath & feel him start to get closer. I feel his breath on my face & he gets down to my level.

"I know I make you nervous" he whispers into my right ear & backs up. He gives a small smirk & walks back towards the campus. I feel like I've been holding my breath forever, I finally breath & start to look around making sure nobody was around to see what he did.

I gather myself back up & walk to the mall a couple blocks down. I spend a couple hours shopping & stopped for early dinner. I decide to head back to the dorm after eating. I start walking back & its almost dark so I start speed walking to avoid being stuck in the dark again. Street lights near the school were very dim.

I make it back to the front of the building before its dark & take a big breath before going in. I walk toward the elevator & tap the button. I wait a good minute & the doors open to Lou with his friends.

"Hey Y/N" Jacob says & waves at me. I smile & reply back while they get off.
"Wait, you know each other? How? What did I miss?" Lou says sounding annoyed.
"Calm down, we met earlier on the elevator you jealous boy" Jacob says in English at his best ability, I found it adorable. All his friends start introducing themselves & after a couple minutes of introductions St. Van speaks up.

"Did Lou tell you he's going back to Korea with us after his main classes?" He says & slaps Lou's back smiling. I see Lou's smile drop a little but he laughs lightly & corrects St. Van.

"That's in like a year" Lou says & makes eye contact with me, although I could care less.

"Well, I have to get up to my room. Have a safe night boys" I say & smile at all of them getting onto the elevator.
"I'll meet you guys at the bar" Lou says & gets on the elevator with me.

The doors close & he pushes level 7. It's quiet for a bit until we stop on floor 3. The elevator gains a group of people & Lou moves beside me. He looks down at me & I could feel his gaze on me. He starts to put his around me & pulls me closer to his side.
