YOU WANT TO BE WHAT?

Chapter 6

Liz smiles & looks up at Lou.

"I missed you so much" Liz says & gets up to hug him.

"Let's not fight anymore okay?" Lou says & kisses her.
They hug once more & all I could do is pretend I didn't see anything.

"I have to go back to the room" I say getting up & grabbing my books. I pack my books back into the bag & throw my tea away. I walk out & think about what just happened.

How can he call me his girlfriend & proceed to do that in front of me.

I walk down the road headed toward to the dorm & hear someone call after me.

"Hey Y/N wait up." I hear someone say & turn around to see Lou.

Of course.

"What's up" I say & look at him.
"I just wanted to talk to you about something" he says & pulls me aside.

We get closer to the wall so people can continue walking by.

"So uhm, I'm sorry about earlier." He says & looks at me with comfort.
"It's alright, its whatever" I say & shrug.
"I just want to ask you something though" he says looking nervous.

What could this be about?

"I mean sure but don't you need to get back to Liz since you just got back together?" I say wanting to bug him.
"Let's not talk about that right now" he says.

"Well what is it?" I ask him wanting him to get over with it already.
"How would you feel if we were like...I don't know, like..." he says but pauses.

"Just tell or ask me so I can get back to my room" i say annoyed.

"How would you feel if were uh..ya know friends with benefits?" He asks lowly so no one around us can hear.

.......What?????

"You want to be WHAT?" comes out a little too loudly & bypassers look at us.

"I'll give you time to think about it." He says & walks away smiling.

.....What just happened?

How do I process this?

I turn around & walk back to the dorm still in shock.
I make it back to the room after 10 minutes & sit down on my bed dropping my books on the floor. Did Lou really ask to be friends with benefits? He's back with Liz & asks me this?
