The computer-controlled taxi was nearing the checkpoint on top of the bridge that took you out to Belle Isle where CyberLife Tower was situated. Inside the taxi, on the right seat sat the android sent by CyberLife. He was again wearing his android jacket and his beanie was nowhere to be found so his LED was loud and clear. Next to him on his left sat the detective from Detroit Police, her non-conspicuous outfit had been swapped for her usual navy blue Detroit Police bomber jacket. They didn't say a word to each other, their nerves were killing them.

The car came to a halt, there was a wall with the text 'CYBERLIFE' on it blocking the road and four armed guards guarding it. The car's window rolled down, revealing a guard standing on the other side. The helmet shielded the guard's identity, but Faye didn't care, all she could stare out was the huge automatic weapon in his hands. One wrong word and he would fire two bullets, one in Faye and one in Connor. Connor who had the advantage of being an android and the ability to remain much calmer spoke first to the guard, "Connor model #313 248 317. I'm expected." Connor then turned his head forward so that his LED was towards the guard. The computer inside the guard's helmet scanned the LED and told him that the identification was successful.

"Detective Faye Cox," Faye started, she took out her badge wallet which contained the Detroit Police badge and her police ID with a picture of her in uniform. The guard was quiet as his computer scanned for identification.

"Says here you're reported MIA." The guard stated and took a firmer grip of his gun.

"I was," Faye started, this was the lie she and Connor had rehearsed, "Jericho took me hostage but I manage to escape. Now, I have some information CyberLife would be interested in." He looked the cop up and down, she had the badge and her story explained her missing report.

"Okay," he backed away from the car and Connor's window rolled up, "go ahead." He waved them forward and the Cyberlife wall disappeared into the ground and the taxi could continue driving over the bridge.

The taxi rolled up to the entrance to CyberLife tower. The two got out and Faye looked up. Just thinking about being up at the top made her nauseous. She looked instead towards Connor on her left which made her all calmer.

Just inside the entrance were three armed guards who were waiting for the detective and the android, "follow me," the guard in the middle said, "we'll escort you."

"Thanks... but we know where to go," Faye explained.

"Maybe," the guard started, "but I have my orders." They really had no choice so they followed the guard. The entrance hall was grand, big bamboo trees and minimalistic decorating. They passed through a grid field and a robotic voice could be heard.

"Agent 23 identified." The robotic voice said as the guard passed through it, "Connor android identified," as Connor passed, "Detective Faye Cox identified." A mental sigh came from Faye as she passed the security.

If the entrance hall was grand then the room after that was majestic. Trees grew from the floor and Faye and Connor walked on bridges over the treetops. The bridge led to the centre of the room where a gigantic statue, taller than most buildings were located. They then walked onto another bridge, there were androids on display along with it and Faye kept her eyes down. These androids had just as much free-thinking as Connor, and yet, they were kept on display. The bridge ended at an elevator. Two other guards stood there. As Faye and Connor walked into the elevator the two guards accompanied them. Freeing all the androids was going to be difficult if guards kept following them. "Agent 54, level 31." The agent closest to the control panel said.

"Voice recognition validated." The elevator answered, "access authorized." As the elevator doors closed, Connor noticed something on the wall right of him. There was a description for every floor. And the bottom text said 'WAREHOUSE -49'. That's where they needed to go, level -49.
