Y/N's  POV

I stood there for a moment, frozen in absolute shock at the scene unfolding in front of me. Kenny's screams brought me back to reality.

"HELP! Y/N!"

"Stop! Let her go!" I say rushing over to her.

"Try to make me." He says, crossing his arms.

"I'll tell her everything I know. Then you'll have nothing on me or her." I say, turning my attention back to the beautiful girl in front of me before continuing. "Ken, my paternal grandparents were drug dealers in Italy, and my maternal grandparents are pot dealers in Cuba. We wanted to distance ourselves from them, which is the whole reason why my parents and I fled to this country. I'm sorry for not telling you this earlier, and I completely understand if you want me out of your life."

"Y/N, you can't control what your grandparents did and neither can your parents. The fact that the three of were willing to leave your family behind and flee to this country tells me that you want nothing to with them or drugs. It shows me you're a changed and very courageous person. I'd be honoured to have you in my life." She says, causing tears to fall from my eyes.

"Thank you Ken."

"Very emotional. But nice try, she's still mine." He says, pulling out a handgun. My breath catches in my throat as he points the gun first at Kendall and then at me.

"Don't you dare think about hurting her." I say through gritted teeth, causing him to burst our laughing.

"I don't believe you are in a position to negotiate. I suggest you walk out of here slowly and keep your mouth shut if you want to stay alive. And believe me, I will find out if you go to the police or other law enforcement agencies. Is that clear?" I don't budge a step as pushes the gun harder against Kendall's temple.

"You have ten seconds."

"If I know anything about people like you, it's that you don't want to commit crimes in broad daylight, especially in places where you can be seen. Like this room we're in for example." I say.

"Why would you say that?"

"Because you are in a supermodel's dressing room. You don't think that every communication, every action we do is being monitored by dozens of cameras and security guards? You take that shot and in an instant, dozens of armed guards will barge in before you can say "Oh Crap". So I suggest you consider your actions very seriously before you end up in prison for life on charges of first degree murder."

"Fine, you may have won this time. But there will be a time when you'll be on the losing side." He says, cutting the tape and releasing Kendall who immediately runs over to me. I wrap my arms around her as the stagehand leaves the room.

"It's okay Kenny, I've got you, you're safe now." I say as she continues to embrace in a koala hug, afraid to let go.

"Let's get you home." She nods and we head out of the dressing room towards the car. A few minutes of belting out her favourite songs later, we pull in to the parking lot of her apartment building. Once we reach her apartment, Kendall heads to the bathroom to freshen up while I head to the kitchen to grab a glass of water. As I reach for the glass in the cupboard, I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. Expecting it to be Avery, I ignore it and continue until it vibrated again.

"Hello?"

"Doctor Y/LN, this is Doctor Jan Garavaglia from the Medical Examiner's office. You have been one hard woman to reach. I have some important information for you regarding the case Kylie Kristen Jenner." The voice on the side says, excitedly.
