Remorse Part II

Kendall's POV

We're here now in the police station waiting for my mom as I had decided to call my mom and tell her what happened after the police officers told us to wait for our questionings. Avery and I couldn't believe what we just heard, attempted murder? Seriously?!

I was pulled out of my thoughts when suddenly the door burst open, revealing my very angry mother.

"Kendall!! Honey, where are you? Are you okay??" Kris shouts.

"Mom over here!" I call out.

"What the fuck happened? Why are you in a police station? And who is that you're with?" Kris spats.

"Mom this is Avery, she was one of Kylie's physicians together with Y/N." I say.

"It's nice meeting you, Mrs. Jenner, I'm Dr. Avery Wilshere. Although, I wish this meeting were under better circumstances." Avery said shaking hands with my mom.

"Look Mom this is not what it look like! We're being accused by something we didn't even do! I was just in the hospital packing Kylie's things when suddenly these fucking cops showed up." I said frustratingly.

Before my mom could respond, the police officer from earlier came back with a detective trailing behind him.

"Excuse me, Ms. Jenner and Dr. Wilshere, this is Detective Espinosa and he's here to question you about your whereabouts when the incident hap.." before the officer could even finish what he was saying, my furious mom interrupted him:

"Excuse me sir but these gorgeous ladies did not do what you are accusing them of, they can tell you what really happened, right Kendall?" Mom said, causing Avery and I to stand up and explain to the officers.

"It's true, we were there when it happened but it wasn't just us, Ashley's former girlfriend was there too, Y/N, the one who she held hostage and forced to marry her because she couldn't handle seeing Y/N happy with someone else. That's why she threatened Y/N and her family by pointing a gun, the very same gun she used to shoot herself if Y/N's mom and Y/N didn't agree to marry her. That's why we were there, we were looking for our best friend. She's a psychopath!! She should be the one going to jail!!" I retort angrily.

We were questioned further about the details pertaining to the incident. After questioning us, Detective Espinosa let us go home and explained they would call us if they have more questions. I was incredibly relieved because I can finally go back home and spend time with Y/N and Kylie after that very traumatic experience.

"Kendall, I think you should stop hanging out with this Y/N girl. She's a bad influence and her behaviour is rubbing off on you which could damage your image." My mother says as the three of us made our way back to the hospital to see my younger sister.

"No mom, that's off the table. Y/N's helped Kylie and I through so much over the past couple of days, you have no idea. Without her, and Avery, Kylie wouldn't be here with us right now, do you realize that? We'd be planning my own sister and your own daughter's funeral! Would you stop being so selfish for once?" I yell, no longer able to contain my anger and disappointment. I feel Avery rubbing my back trying to calm me down. All of sudden, I lurched forward as the car came to hard stop in the middle of the freeway.
