Thought after thought
Enters my mind
I can't control it
I want it to stop
I'm losing
I can't fight anymore
I let the flood gates open wide
Thoughts spilling out
No answers to my questions
No reassurance of my doubts
I live on
Day by day
These thoughts pinging around my head
Droning it out
Numbing the pain
With a strange new thought
Of love,
To be long-lived
