*Picture of Jordan's mom*
Felix POV
I stared at the young pretty lady in front of me. I wanted to slap her and she wasn't even my mom.
"Hello pretty girl." She smiled slightly.
"Keith." I called. He came out holding Austin.
"Why you open the door?" He asked me.
"I didn't know." I shrugged.
"Austin." The lady walked in and took Austin from Keith. She kissed the baby and tried kissing Keith. Keith moved causing her to look hurt.
"You don't love me anymore, Keith?" She asked. Keith bit down on his bottom lip in rage. His fists balled up as if he wanted to hit her.
I quickly ran to his side and tried soothing him.
"You straight left me with a baby to look after! Then you come back talking about love!!!" He yelled.
"I had too! If I didn't they would have killed me!!" She yelled.
"You so selfish! Do you know how many nights I stayed up and cried myself to sleep over you?! Hoping and praying you okay! Mane I wish you would've just stayed away." Keith left out.
I grabbed my baby, I mean baby Austin, and ran after Keith.
"Keith!" I yelled his name as I ran behind him to his room. I slammed the door behind us and put Austin on the bed.
"I got you Keith. Don't let her stress you. Just know I got you." I held his cheeks and kissed his lips passionately.
"But she ain't got me Fe." He cried.
"Fuck that. After we graduate we won't have to look back at Chicago." I shrugged.
"I can't leave my lil nigga behind." He pointed to Austin. He was too busy staring at me with those big pretty eyes. I think I fell in live with this baby.
"You ain't gone leave me like-"
"Hell naw. I got you." I held him close to me.
Jordan POV
I tied my shoes and looked in the mirror. I wore my button down polo shirt, true jeans, and clarks. I put my hair in a ponytail.
Today is the day my parents come home. They promised me they would take me out and we would enjoy being a family again.
But I highly doubt that. They always leaving a nigga high and dry.
"We're home!" I heard my mom yell. I took my time and walked down the stairs and saw them posted by the door.
"Mi familia." I hugged them both.
"I missed y'all!" I held them tightly.
"Ready to turn up baby?" My mom shook her little hips. I noticed a small scar on her shoulder.
"They caught you lacking?" I joked.
"Yea but I can hold my own." She assured me.
"My girl is harder than a lot of these niggas." My dad kissed my mom.
"Yea." I smirked.
"Well let's go to Apple Bees! What are y'all waiting on?!" My mom cheered.
We all headed out and got in the Mercedes Benz truck. I sat in the back staring down in my phone.
It's kind of odd having parents around now. Im so used to being alone and lonely.
"So spill the tea." My mom turned around in my face like a big kid.
"About what?" I asked.
"What's been going on since we've been gone?" She asked.
"A lot." I looked back down in my phone.
"A lot like what?" She stared at me.
"Felix and I have been partying a lot." I partially told the truth.
"No boys?" She asked with raised eye brows.
"Just Josh, Amir, and Keith. But Amir is moving now and-"
"Amir is moving?" My mom asked in disbelief.
"Yes." I shrugged.
"Aw honey I'm sorry." My mom reached back and hugged me tightly.
"It's cool we're not on speaking terms." I said.
"Good." My dad mumbled. He will forever hate Amir for no reason. I guess dad doesn't like anyone who wants his baby girl.
*
We sat in the booth at Apple Bees and I stared at how lovey dubby they were on each other.
"Code red." My dad said into this little earpiece he had in his ear. He and mom stared at a man walking by in a black trench coat. He looked hella suspicious to me.
"Bradley Myers." My mom said while taking a folded paper out her purse. She unfolded it and looked at the picture then up at the man.
"That's why I love you. You're so smart." My dad slid out the booth and put his dark shades on.
"Mom-"
"Stay put Jordan." She said following behind my dad closely.
And just like that I'm alone again.
