Six months later. Elena very pregnant at this point. Has been moping around. She misses Elijah. She wished that it didn't have to be like this. But she couldn't cut Matt out of the baby's life. Elena now rubbed her belly. She smiled down at it. Jeremy who Elena is now living with. Came in. "Hey. - I know you don't want to talk about this. - it might do you the world of good." Jeremy now spoke. Elena shook her head. "What is there to talk about? - Elijah didn't want Matt in the baby's life. - and I couldn't do that to Matt. - so that's it all is." Elena now rubbed her belly again as the baby kicked. Jeremy now at his wits end. Worried about his older sister. Got his phone out and rang Elijah. And went outside. "Hello. - don't hang up. - please. - thank you. - Elena is miserable without you. - yes I know. - think of if it was the other way round. - would you wanted to be cut out of the baby's life. - could you come to New York. - great see you then." Jeremy hung up the phone.
Two days later. There was a knock on the door.
