| Max's POV. |

     Monday. Ugh.

I sat up, and dismissed the alarm on my phone. Pondering, I remember that I had a good weekend, for the most part.

I hop out of the bed, and stretch. My arms in the air, and walk to my bathroom. I flicked the light on, and squinted. I yawned, turning the shower knob to hot.

I grab my toothbrush and toothpaste. I put the toothpaste on the toothbrush, and brush my teeth, waiting on the shower.

I rinse the brush, and spit out all the remaining toothpaste in my mouth. I gargle twice with this minty mouthwash, and take off my shirt. I turn around, to face the other way of the full length mirror.

My eyes grow wide. Zoey left long, and red scratches on my back. I turn to the right, and examine my torso. Wow, this girl could do some damage – being a she-wolf and all.

I trace the marks with my finger, as I run my finger up and down my spine. She was good...

I pull down my shorts – and boxers – until I'm completely naked.

I get into the shower, and heal the scratches on my back and ribs. I may sure they're gone, as I rub my back. They're gone. Man...if Savannah found out, she'd go on rage mode. Really...

I blew my breath out of my nostrils, and washed my body. I need a run or two... And fast. My wolf was getting irritated with Savannah, so was I... I – and my wolf – need our mate! ...

I finished my hot shower, and went back to my room.

My phone was buzzing so much that is was about to fall of the nightstand. I caught it before it fell into a million pieces. It was a couple texts.

Savannah: No need to pick me up today, got a ride.

Collin: Tell coach that I won't make it to practice.

Rocky: Awesome party. #Wasted.

Unknown: Ice cream with girlfriend?

Savannah: I might be late to school...Long story, that I don't have time to tell.

I raised my brow, and reread the unknown text. Zoey... How'd she get my number in the first place?

That was the only thing on my mind, as I got ready for school.

I put on a hoodie with the world on it and a pair of light faded jeans. I put on my pair of black vains, and went downstairs to eat breakfast.

When I get to the kitchen. No one's here. Well, that's a first. Heh.

I put my phone on the counter, and head to my place. The pantry. I take out a box of cherry pop tarts, and pour me a glass of fresh orange juice.
