Chapter 3

"I'm so sorry, Shino-san!" I got late its because I did something exactly what you told me not to do. I got lost." I was a little embarrassed but we laughed it off.
"Well, let's start the tour now, that's because you must be getting excited to know your new workplace." Shino-san said in his usual calm and collected tone.
"These are the classes where all the kids learn their skills like Taijutsu, Genjutsu and Ninjutsu as well as gain other required knowledge." He said as we entered an empty classroom.
"I don't think I've seen such a big room before, but then again, I don't know I might have. But this is so big." I was so amused by how big and facilitated one class was. There were all learning essentials, comfortable seats, perfect air-conditioning. I just closed my eyes to take everything in.
"Well, let's move on, that's because, there's a lot in the academy that you haven't seen before" He led the way.
"This is the staff room. That is Anko sensei. She is the only one apart from me who's stays this long today" Shino-san explained.
"Hello! I'm looking forward to working with you! I'm new here and I will join the academy from tomorrow. So, Shino-san was nice enough to give me a small personal tour" I said to her.
"Same here. Want some sweets?" She offered some very sweetly. I politely refused and continued our tour.
"This is the administrative department and that's our principal who was also Lord Seventh's Sensei!" Shino-san introduced me.
"Hello! I'll be joining new from tomorrow. I'm looking forward to working and learning with everyone" I said.
"But have you decided a new name for yourself?" Iruka-san asked me. "Shikamaru called me and told me about you. It might be your real name but we have to call you something, right?"
"Yeah. I will think of something and let you know." I thanked him and took my leave.
"Now that I think of it. I really need a new name." I thought
"Hey! Shino-san! Will you be so kind enough to help me with my new name? I mean I don't know anyone else apart from Boruto in the village and I don't think I was a Shinobi either. Even if I was, I don't remember anything about being a Shinobi. So, if you are not busy, which you might be considering how big the academy is and the work you have, but if you can would you like to help me figure out my new name?" I was almost sure that he would say no. It is a weird thing. Babies are named not a woman in her 20s. Obviously, why would anyone...ugh...I'm dumb.
"I wouldn't mind actually." Shino-san smiled at me.
"Really?" My eyes shown bright with joy, or so I like to think.
"So, where will we find a name? Do you have stores for that too?" I joked.
"I actually don't know, that's because, I've never searched for a name before." He looked confused.
"We'll be fine. We'll select a name based on the things we encounter during th day? Like if we go to a flower shop, we can look for Tsubaki, Lily etc."
"Let's head to a flower shop then! But I don't know any flower shops."
"I know one, but..."
And we were here and the Yamanaka flower shop.
*Welcome!" Ino-san said, "Oh you! Please. Which flower do you want? If you can tell me about the occasion or situation I might be able to suggest some flower for you."
"Ino-san, I'm looking for a name, for myself. So, I would like to see flowers that make a nice name." I told her.
"How about this?" Shino-san held a flower in front of me.
"Tulip?" I said
He held a different flower from the other side. "Hibiscus?"
"Nah. I don't think your name should be a flowers name. But Shino! Now you've to buy them,because I won't be able to out them back in the bouquet"
Shino-san paid for the flowers and handed them to me, "Why thank you." I said tugging my skirt pretending to be a lady from the royal family. "You are quite the charming gentleman" I said and we smiled at each other outside the shop.
While we were walking on the road looking for a name, talking to each other, I suddenly felt a cold feeling.
"Shino-san, get your ear closer" I told him. Shino-san hesitantly put his ear near my lips.
"I think somebody is following us. What should be do?" I whispered. Shino-san looked around.
"In such a case," he whispered back to me, "Let's just let them follow us until a turn and hide to see when they come out." We both agreed and continued walking like nothing had happened and turned around the corner waiting for the follower.
"Hah! We've caught you! Who are you and why are you following us?" I asked the person authoritatively.
"Calm down. He's my friend. His name is Kiba" Shino-san put his hand on my shoulder accidentally.
"Oh. Okay. I'm sorry. I didn't know. I'm new here. I'm sorry I surprised you and doubted you like that, Kiba-san" I apologized to Kiba."Also, if you don't mind us, we are actually busy, at th-"
"Yeah. Yeah. I just thought you would-" Kiba noticed the flowers in my hands and the way I said busy. "Ofcourse! Ofcourse! Bye Shino! Enjoy! I hope you get some!" He said waving at him.
"I'll try my best, that's because, she would really appreciate it" he responded in his calm demeanor. "Let's get some inspiration from the previous Hokage's, from the Great Stone Faces."
"That's a great idea, Shino-san! Also, we will be able to see the entire village from there! Let's go!" We said as we ran to catch the Thunder train. We boarded it and reached the Great Stone Faces. "Seems like you haven't forgotten that huh!" He said in a surprised tone.
"Yes! I'm so happy! Let's see! What else do I remember?" I started thinking about what I know and I sat down.
"Sit down, Shino-san. Don't stand, that's because, otherwise your legs will hurt."
We both giggled a little as I imitated him. We talked and helped me figure out a lot of things, told me about academy, told me about his Ninja Way.
"We're here." He said adjusting his mask for the hundredth time in the day. There was something weird about him since he met Kiba-san. I didn't bother myself too much with it because Shino-san said he was always like that since they were on the same team. We got off at the station and walked a little until we reached them. The view was beautiful and we sat down to enjoy it.
We both were talking and a grasshopper hopped onto me. "Hey there, little buddy! One second" the grasshopper hopped on to my finger and and got up to let it back to the forest. "I'm back"
"You like bugs?" He asked me as soon as I sat next to him.
"I like them. But not only bugs, I like all animals. I like them from the biggest to the smallest." I answered.
"But why? Why do you like bugs?" He asked me out of curiosity maybe.
"I like them because they make the impossible look like possible. Ants carry 80 times their weight of food in one haul, such super strength! Cicadas spend 7 years underground, such patience! Spider silk is 5 times stronger than steel!" There are so many amazing things about bugs which people seem to ignore because of their appearance." I explained.
I was kind of site that I was making a mistake, but Shino-san was smiling and blushing?!
"Did I say something wrong, Shino-san?" I asked him and I was worried because he wouldn't look at me.
"You lose your memories, don't you?" And before I could answer Shino-san, got up. I got up in return. "I'm sorry Shino-san, if I said something to offend you. I-i-i didn't mean to, I was just-" He's hugging me?! Shino-san is hugging me? I don't really understand what's going on, but I don't say no to hugs. I always return them. I will always return hugs.
I spelt hugged him back.
"Shino? Is that you?" Shino-san immediately turned around to see who it was, and apparently it was someone who he knew.
"You're not a Shinobi, right? Hold on tight." He said as he picked me up and jumped from ceiling to ceiling of different building. I could see the entire village from a completely different perspective!
"That's the hotel I'm living in!" I pointed "Thank you for getting me here, Shino-san." I smiled at him. "I guess I will see you at work tomorrow."
"Yes. Thank you for today. I shall take your leave now that because-"
"Shino-san look at the sunset. It's so pretty, isn't it?"
"Hinoiri" He mumbled.
"Hmm? What did you say?"
"U-umm... Hinoiri. Your name. It means sunset. I really enjoyed this sunset with you today."
"Ah!" I smiled happily and spun around, "Hinoiri! I am Hinoiri! Thank you, Shino-san. I will see you tomorrow"
I turned around but my skirt got stuck near the fence of the hotel terrace, so I couldn't move. I dropped flat on my face and my nose started bleeding.
Shino-san immediately turned to me and came back, "Are you alright?" "My nose. I was holding my handkerchief at it, but my nose just won't stop bleeding. It doesn't hurt or anything but my blood isn't clotting"
" I will take you to the hospital. Don't worry." Shino-san offered.
"I am not worried. It will stop on its own. We don't need to stop it. We don't need to go to the hospital for this." I said
"So, you're okay with bleeding to death on a hotel terrace?"
"If you put it that way, then..."
Shino-san scooped me up, I made sure the handkerchief was a make shift arrangement.
"Sakura! Look at her, please! He nose bleed isn't stopping. She's losing a lot of blood."
"Shino-san" I interrupted "I'm sorry to interrupt but you can put me down now. Thank you. I'm already a burden for you."
"Don't say that, that's because it hurts the feelings of people who care about you." He said, and smiled at me as Sakura-san led me for a check up.
"Shino," she talked to him, "I have fixed the minor damage to the blood vessels but the original problem is with her blood. Her blot does not have enough platelets which means 2 things, 1 it cannot clot and stop the bleeds and 2 a lot of diseases and thus weakness. She is going to have to be very careful of what she eats and everything. I hope you can take care of her. I mean she is going to need a lot of care. I would recommend you to be with her all the time just to check in on her diet, energy usage etc and report it to me from time to time. Also, we don't want any kind of mental stresses as well. We need her to be as happy as possible, as healthy as possible. I'll prescribe a diet and medicines. Take care of her."
