Chapter 8

"That's all that I remember." I said to Hinata-san, as she completed noting down every detail of what I said. " I shall take your leave now. I can't take too many holidays from the academy as well. Now, that Shino-san is fine, I can go to work as well." I said as I took my leave from her.
I met Shino-san at work again and we were a team, a dynamic duo of teachers. Iruka-san called us to the office to discuss something important. As soon as we reached the office, Iruka-san looked at us, was very happy and welcomed us in. He pointed to some graphs and asked us, "Do you know what that is?" Both of us nodded negatively.
"Those are the graphs of misbehaviour in the academy and beside that are graphs that represent grades of the academy for the past 8 months, which is when Hinoiri joined the academy. Since the time, both of you have become a co-teacher team, the grades of students have improved and their misbehaviour has reduced. So, I have decided that, just like you guys, I will pair other teachers in a team as well. Both of you guys, have to be heads and select which teachers would work together best and form their pairs and you will be given, a promotion for this!" Iruka-san had his eyes gleaming with joy.
"Yay!" I got up from my seat. "Sorry. I just got a little excited." I apologized and Shino-san thanked him for the opportunity. We both promised to work our hardest and give it our all. We took his leave and decided we are going to celebrate today after the classes are over.
We both settled for a restaurant, and decided to just go as we were. I quickly grabbed my wallet and we decided to walk. So, we got takeaways from the restaurant, sat down where we had first kissed. We sat and ate with the moon behind us. He lied down on my lap as I caressed his face occasionally giving him pecks on the forehead. He stopped talking whenever I leaned it, closed his eyes (I guess), and focused on the feeling of the kiss and smiled endearingly.
"I have lived without attention, any without complaints. I don't like attention as much anyways. I don't like people looking at me and everything, but I really wouldn't like it," he said tucking my hair behind my ear to no avail, "if I didn't have your attention."
"I will make sure I pay the minimal amount of attention necessary according to the situation to other guys." I said smilingly.
We both were looking at the stars and suddenly, "Huh? Shino? Is that you?" Said a familiar voice and we both turned back to look. "Kurenai Sensei!" He said. "You didn't tell me you had a girlfriend!" She said in surprise.
"I'm sorry Sensei. This is Hinoiri, my girlfriend."
I bowed to show respect and he introduced me, "This is Kurenai Sensei. She was our team leader of team 8. She is very skilled at using Genjutsu"
"I'm so happy to meet you." I smiled.
"I hope you make Shino happy. He's a very sweet boy and cares for the feelings of other people a lot. He might not show it but he is very sensitive. Take care of him" she said.
"Ofcourse!" I exclaimed. "You have nothing to worry about Sensei! I only plan on making him happy!" She was relieved to hear that and made her way back.
We went back to sit, and we sat next to each other. "Don't want to lie down, anymore?" I asked him before I saw his face red like a tomato. "What happened?" I asked with genuine concern. "Nothing. I just introduced you to my Sensei. She is a big part of my life. She has protected me on missions, solved all our problems like they were her own. She is really important to me" I could barely hear what he said.
"It's is so cool though, I mean. I am Hinoiri, Aburame Shino's girlfriend. The Aburame Shino who defeated an Anbu member, Torune. The Aburame Shino who takes joys in the little things that he does. The Aburame Shino who cares about me a lot." I hugged my knees and looked over at him.
I slipped a little close to him and under his arm. He had his arm around me and I had my head on his shoulder. We both picked up the glasses of cola, and gave a toast to our success.
"Umm... Well, excuse me for a minute, that's because I need to go to the medical store." He got up and went to the nearby store and came back in a while. "It's winter now. It's cold. I wrapped the blanket that we sat on around myself and Shino-san came in that time.
" If you're cold, you should've told me, that's because if you are cold I'll give you my jacket."
"And won't you feel cold, then?"
"It's okay. If you are cold you will catch a cold."
"No, Shino-san. I am not that weak anymore. Sakura-san said thanks to you my platelet count is increasing"
"I still want you to accept, that's because it's a man's duty to do nice things and protect his girlfriend."
"You're not going to listen are you?" I stared at his straight face. I accepted his jacket as it was big for me but he put it over my shoulders. I thanked him and we walked back home but we weren't even remotely tired because all we did today was get congratulated by people.
"Hinoiri-san," he said, "I was wondering if you're tired, that's because if you aren't then maybe we could do something"
"I'm not tired Shino-san. What do you have in mind?" I asked.
He sat next to me and stuttered incredibly,
"Sh-sh-sh-sh-should we d-d-d-do it to-to-to-to-to-to-today?"
"Do what, Shino-san?" I asked.
"I-i-it" he stuttered again.
"I don't understand but if you want to do it, let's do it." I held his hand.
He almost fainted. "Are you okay, Shino-san?" I was concerned at this point of time.
"I'm okay." He said clearing his throat and he took out his wallet. I peered into his wallet a big and I got an idea of his intentions. I was nervous but he was finally making the move. Plus that size was pretty big. I was flustered but I got myself together. I played some sort music and got some chocolates out of the fridge.
I offered some to Shino-san, and picked one up and put it in my mouth.
This is my moment. I am going to show Shino-san, that this, is fun. I licked his finger as he put it in my mouth and he kind of just left it. He was nervous too, and not very good at hiding it. "I'll go change into my pajamas now" I went into the bathroom to change and put on my frilly short nightgown. I didn't wear this one quite often. I don't think Shino-san had seen me in this satin black frilly short nightgown before. All I could do is hope for the best.
Shino-san I said brushing my hair, "I think-" I looked over and he had fainted. "Shino-san!" I got him water and put some of it on his face. I got another glass and asked him to drink it. "Are you okay?" He just nodded. "Why did you faint then?" I asked.
"It's true I fainted, that's because you look like that in the new gown"
"I look like this? You've seen me in this nightgown before, Shino-san!"
"I don't think I have, that's because I don't remember noticing your...your...your features like this." He tried to explain.
"Maybe you just weren't paying enough attention to me then"
"Not possible, that's because whenever I'm with you my entire attention is focused on you."
"Your entire attention is on my right now?"
I took the glass from his hands and swayed to the kitchen trying to be as sexy as I could. I popped a chocolate in my mouth, danced myself to the music and went to sit next to him.
"I guess, I will get changed now." He said and went into the bathroom. I don't know what was going on inside his head, but when he came back, all I could do was stare, with my mouth open.
He walked around with those lean muscles and abs and he didn't have a shirt on. He looked like a anything you would ever want. All I did was stare in awe as he sat down next to be in his loose pants and closing my mouth he said, "I guess we're even now"
I blinked a few times just to process it, "Oh. Wow. Umm. I-I-I-I didn't know you worked out so much, Sh- Sh- Shino-san." I couldn't gather my words together to form a sentence.
Before a realized it my hand kind of went on its own and touched his muscles. "Wow. That's umm... That's very... That's very not what I though you would look like without a shirt. Actually, its exactly what I imagined but I didn't think it could be true."
"Well, now since we're even," he said "let's take it forward"
