LXVI. The Junior-Senior's Prom

Third Person's POV :

It's already February 13, 2015 and today is the day that most students are excited for, the Junior-Senior's Prom.

Well, except for some people like Kylie.

Kylie : Hmph.

Nicky : C'mon, Alien! It's gonna be fun!

She pulls Kylie in the Party Building.

Rachel : KJ si Roque.

Bettina : Yieee! I'm so excited!

They were also helping Nicky by pushing Kylie.

Everything was so grand. All the decorations were very expensive, and so was the food to be served.

When everyone was already in the building, the sound system played the Philippine National anthem and a doxology.

Then Mrs. Padilla, the school director, went to the podium.

Mrs. Padilla : Juniors, seniors, please settle down.

Everyone obeyed her.

Mrs. Padilla : I know all of you are excited to the this party started but I would I like to tell you about my experience in my JS Prom.

She said.

Mrs. Padilla : When I was a 4th Year High School student, my crush asked me, "Will you be my date for the prom?"

The students howled.

Mrs. Padilla : I immediately said, "Yes, of course!"

And the students howled louder which made Mrs. Padilla laugh.

Mrs. Padilla : When it was already our prom, he told me to hold tight to his arm.

The students howled louder.

Mrs. Padilla : And I did what I was told.

The students squealed and howled.

Mrs. Padilla : Then when we were in the venue of our Prom, he asked me, "Where's Veronica?"

The students said, "Ohh!" sympathetically.

Mrs. Padilla : And the Veronica he was talking about was my best friend.

The students' reactions increased volume.

Mrs. Padilla : The whole reason why he asked me out was to get close with my best friend.

Mrs. Padilla just laughed at the students' reactions.

Mrs. Padilla : Is that happening here?

The students were shouting different types of answers.

Mrs. Padilla : Why can I hear a yes?

Most of the students laughed.

Mrs. Padilla : Baa! Sino yan?

The students and Mrs. Padilla, including the students' class advisers, laughed.

Mrs. Padilla : But seriously, I hope you'll enjoy your JS Prom to the fullest! Everyone, enjoy!

The crowd clapped as Mrs. Padilla went down the podium.

And the performance of all the students started.

Ezekiel : Why aren't you enjoying this, Roque?

For the group performance, Ezekiel is Kylie's partner.

Kylie : Nah. I dont even get why this is fun.
