LX. Three Days of Deciding

Two Days Later (October 15, 2014) ...

Third Person's POV :

Kylie is back to Roque, again. And Rodrick and Kylie are getting along.

And we mean by getting along, we mean Kylie and Rodrick are riding the same car.

Kylie : You're so ... ano ...

She said crossing her arms.

Rodrick : I'm so ano?

He moved his face closer to Kylie's face. Kylie felt awkward and pushed his face away.

Kylie : Not that close, you dummy!

Rodrick caressed his nose.

Rodrick : Yung ilong ko!

Kylie : I don't care about your nose.

Rodrick just laughed.

Kylie : As I was saying, you're so makulit because I told you I have my own car and a driver, so you don't have to come with me in going home.

She glared at Rodrick.

Kylie : But you rode with me in my car!

Rodrick : Gusto ko lang masiguro na safe ka.

Rodrick made akbay to Kylie but Kylie swatted his arm with a book she was holding.

Rodrick : Aray!

He caressed his aching arm.

Rodrick : Sakit non ah.

He complained.

Kylie : I don't care.

She looked at the buildings that they were passing by.

Rodrick : Kung hindi ko masiguro na safe ka, lagot ako kay Jake.

Kylie : He has a girlfriend already.

Rodrick : Pero best friend ka pa rin niya.

Kylie : Hmph.

After that, no one in the car dared to make a sound.

Rodrick : Teka ... bakit hindi tayo papunta ng Diit?

He broke the silence when he noticed they were going to Palo.

Kylie : A week ago, Ma is having seminar in Hawaii while Dad is in Singapore. So, they left me with my Grande cousins.

Rodrick : Huh?!

He panicked.

Rodrick : Akala ko pupunta tayo sa Forbbes Park!

Kylie : Yan eh. I told I'm not going to Forbbes Park but you didn't believe me.

There was awkward silence again.

Rodrick : Kailan mo pa ba ako sasagutin?

Kylie : Like I told you kanina, give me three days to decide.

Rodrick : Ang tagal naman.

He complained.

Kylie : What do you want, I'll not say yes today or I'll never say yes?

Rodrick : Ah ... eh ... none of the above?

Kylie : Only one.

She said sternly.

Rodrick : Hmph.

He leaned.

Rodrick : Sige na lang. Maghihintay pa ako ng tatlong days.
