Third Person's POV :

Jake, as in Jake Algieri, the first love and best guy friend of Roque, is walking towards Kylie's house, in Forbbes Park, Diit.

Jake : Block 20 Lot 30. Eto na yun.

Jake stood infront of the gate and pressed the button on the gate.

"Ting ting ting"

Dra. Rodriguez : How can I help you?

She said as she opened the gate door.

Dra. Rodriguez : Jake ... Jake? Is that really you?

Jake : Of course, Tita. Jake Algieri, the one and only.

Dra. Rodriguez : Bless.

She raised her a bit and tilted it to degrees. Jake held it and placed Dra. Rodriguez hand on his forehead.

Dra. Rodriguez : Come in! Come in!

Jake : Sige po.

He went inside and Dra. Rodriguez closed the gate door.

Jake looked around.

Jake : Iba ang istura ng lugar na ito nung last time na pumunta ako rito.

He thought to himself.

Dra. Rodriguez : Naku! Naku! Naku! Naku! Naku ijo! Kumusta na? How was it in Italy?

She said as she was walking to the patio.

Jake : It was great actually! I became more addicted to gelato when I went there after elementary graduation.

Dra. Rodriguez was a bit shocked.

Dra. Rodriguez : Gelato? I thought Roque told me you love pizza.

Jake : Huh? Pizza? Medyo nakakalito 'to ah!

He asked to himself.

Jake : Akala ko sabi niya naa-addict siya sa gelato.

He thought to himself.

Jake : O-of course! I still love bacon pizza. I kinda ... started loving gelato ever since I went there again.

Dra. Rodriguez was shocked again.

Dra. Rodriguez : Bacon pizza? Akala ko sabi ni Roque na ang favorite pizza mo ay Spicy All Meat Pizza.

Jake : T******! Ano ba talaga?!

He thought again.

Dra. Rodriguez : Oh! Sorry for me being like this. I just forgot that people change. Even their interests.

Jake sighed in relief.

Jake : Hay salamat!

Dra. Rodriguez : What are you thanking for?

Jake's eyes widened.

Jake : Pag-isip ng magandang palusot!

He said to himself.

Jake : Because ... I'm thanking God for the fresh air. I miss the fresh air here in Tacloban.

Dra. Rodriguez : Oh.

They sat down on a table near the swimming pool.

Dra. Rodriguez : So, ijo, why did you come back? For vacation?
