I went inside my room and cried. I then went into my hybrid form and started to burn my room down (fortunately it was fireproof). My anger was taking me over. I didn't want to hurt anyone but, here I am. Burning things left and right. I knew it would be in a matter of time before someone else besides my parents and teacher found out. I looked at the calendar. It was Friday. I packed a backpack and left for my parents house

At my parents house........

I used my key to get in to the front door. "Welcome home Phoenix," said my mother after I got in. "Hi mom, is dad home," I asked. "No, he is at work," my mom said. I talked to her about what happened and of course I didn't make it to vocal in enough time to do the test (you know why). "Phoenix, you need to learn how to control your powers. I know you want to keep it a secret but someday, you will have to tell someone," My mom said. "Mom, you told me to keep this a secret. I don't want to be dissected or put in jail. You know I didn't want these powers anyways," I said.  "Jayden, I'm saying this for your own good. I'm worried that you could end up killing someone," My mom said. I was more furious than ever. "I DON'T CARE," I yelled. After I yelled, I accidently set something on fire. Mom saw how mad I was. "JAYDEN PHOENIX ASH!  That's not the way to talk to me. You need to calm down and accept your powers. I can't stand you burning something else," My mom said. "I'm sorry. I need some space," I said. I was worried that my mother would be mad at me for yelling at her. "Phoenix, I know you did not mean to do this. You know this was the reason why I applied for you to go to Serenity SOTA. I wanted this to be an opportunity for you to master, control, and embrace who you are. I didn't want for you to be mad. All I want is what is best for you," My mother explained. Afterwards, I went to my room.

[Ariana's POV]

I was looking for Jayden. I heard from Belle that she was mad about something. I knocked on her door. She didn't answer. I tried calling her. She didn't pick up. Earlier, there was another fire. the second time this week. Belle came up to me. "Ariana, Jayden left for her parents house. I tried talking to her but, she said she needed space. I wanted to call you about it," Belle said. "It's ok. I starting to get suspicious of her. I think she has a secret she wants to hide," I said. "She told me everything about her. But, it wouldn't hurt to interrogate her," Belle said. "Belle do you know what caused the fire," I asked. "No," Belle said. Jayden. What is she trying to hide? "Belle, I won't stop until we figure out the truth about Jayden. She hiding something and I need to know. I think this is something that bothers her and you are going to help me," I said. I knew what I am about to do is risky. But, this could put the whole school at risk if I don't.
