The Secret Garden

We were walking in the forest. Ben and I. "Jayden, I want to show you something," Ben said. "Ok Ben, show me," I replied. I changed into my hybrid form and went to where he wanted to take me. Once we got there, I saw a beautiful gate. The gate was purple and black with a Victorian style. The brick was surrounding the gate had black finishes. "What is this place," I asked. "This is The Secret Garden of The 6 Elemental Goddesses.
Legend said that each goddess represented and element. Celeste is The Sun Goddess. Eclipse is The Moon Goddess. Flora is The Earth Goddess. Oceanna is The Water Goddess. And Flaria is The Fire Goddess. The last elemental goddess was the protector of this garden but unfortunately she was killed by The Demon King. Little is known about her," Ben said. "Wow," I replied.

I felt like I belong here. Like it was my destiny. "I still can't control my powers. I felt really strong when I snapped. I lost myself to it," I said. "I think you powers are like your emotions," Ben said. I thought about what he said. This reminded me about what Mr. Stevens said. 'You need to control yourself before you control your powers'. I need to control my emotions. My emotions fuel my power. "Ben, I finally understand what My teacher taught me. I need to learn to control my emotions," I said. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. Using this I calmed down and sparked a flame from my hand. I opened my eyes and saw the color of the flame was black. I surrounded myself in the flame. It started to hurt me. "What are you doing," Ben said.
I honestly didn't know what I was doing. I was following my instinct. After a while, I knew what I was doing. The Black Flame was consuming me. The Black Flame of Death and Rebirth. I was dying. I slowly felt the life of me slipping away. The ashes of the withered rose will rise and give birth to a beautiful rose.

[Ben's POV]

I saw Jayden burn into ashes. I was just starting to have feelings for her. I wanted us to come here because I loved her. I picked up her ashes and went into the garden. In the garden there was an alter with black, purple and gray flowers surrounding it. There was something written on it. It read the following:

In the past, My powers have grown stronger. My number one priority was to protect this garden from foreign invaders. At the end, My death was inevitable. It had to happen in order to create a reincarnation of me. Someone who can outlive me. I told my sisters to never speak of me until I return. That is why little is known. So just in case of my permanent death, I created a prophecy that one day I would be born again, rediscover my powers, and continue my duty

For those who read it will see me as a child learning my place. I will rise again. And my legend will be known.

I read the scroll on the alter. Behind me I sensed someone. I turned around.
