'No! Don't let go...I'll be there for you too.'

Eddie flashed a smile at Richie as Richie pulled up into the hospital parking lot.

"As much as I don't want to let go, we will have to in order to get out of the car." Eddie laughed at Richie. The taller one just huffed and slowly released his hand from Eddie's loose grip and started to unbuckle the seatbelt.

Richie locked the car after the two boys got out and they started walking to the hospital entrance. Just as Eddie's hand reached out to push the door open he felt a hand on his shoulder.

"Eddie..I-..I know that this maybe isn't the right place to ask you this but...were you going to kiss me..you know, at the police station?"

Eddie tensed up a bit and slowly turned around to face Richie. The ravenette's cheeks were flushed and he pushed his glasses back up the bridge of his nose.

Eddie thought that he was beautiful, his dark curls that framed his face, his piercing eyes that could stare right through Eddie's soul, his slightly chapped, but oh so kissable lips. Yes, Eddie wanted to kiss him and if Eddie was being completely honest he wants to do so much more then to just kiss Richie. But most importantly, he wants to be his soulmate. He wants to be together with him forever but Eddie knew that this wasn't something that should be discussed in front of a hospital, while Richie's mom was in there.

He cleared his throath, pulled the sleeves of his sweater over his hands and wrapped his arms around his torso.

"We'll talk about this when we get home, okay?" the brunette said in an almost inaudible voice. He looked up at Richie and the taller one nodded at him, but Eddie could see a little sadness in his eyes.

"Come on now, we need to know how your mother is doing." he said while pushing the door open. Richie followed after him and walked up to the desk.

The lady behind it was obnoxiously chewing on a piece of gum and looked up at Richie with a questioning look.

"Uh..we're visitors.." he said hesitantly.

"Name?" the woman said with a monotone and stern voice.

"Maggie..Tozier."

"She's getting stitches right now, the doctor will come get you when she's patched up. Go sit in the waiting room please." the lady said while pointing her head at the direction the waiting room was.

Richie turned and saw that Eddie was already seated, browsing through a magazine.

He walked over to him and went to sit down next to him. He sighed and Eddie looked over, "What'd she say?" he asked just above a whisper as to not disturb the other people in the waiting room.

Richie let out a shaky breath and tapped his fingers against his knees, "She's getting stitches..fucking stitches..that fucker hit her so hard she needs to get stitches." He pushed his glasses up with his fingertips and pressed the palms of his hands against his eyes.

Eddie layed a comforting hand on his back, "Hey...shh, she's going to be fine. I promise Richie..I promise. The police are looking for him so that he can't do this again. It's going to be okay."
