'The Losers Club.'
Richie hesitated for a moment, does he really want to be associated with 'The Losers'? But then again, these two kids have been nicer to Richie in two hours, then most of the kids were in California the whole time he lived there.
"Sure, I would love to. How many of you are there?" the tall one asks. "Six, Ben and Beverly, they are soulmates, Eddie, Mike and us two, but Mike doesn't go to school, he's homeschooled." Stan answered Richie's question. "So there's another pair of soulmates in your group...And the other two?" he shyly asked again.
"E-eddie is the o-one w-without a st-streak," Bill told him, "a-and M-muh-mike is euhm.. a-also dark red." he said while starting to blush. He looked at Stan who was also blushing, then they both turned to Richie, who had a confused grin on his face.
"Big Bill, you're telling me that you have two bitches? Well wouldya look a'that" he said with a weird voice, while pushing his glasses up on the bridge of his nose. "Okay, one: we're not Bill's 'bitches', we're his boyfriends. And two: what the fuck was that?" Stan said while looking Richie dead in the eyes.
The boy put his hands up in defense, "Alright, alright, I'm sorry. Your boyfriends...and I don't know I have lots of voices, wanna hear 'em?" the boy grinned at them. "Maybe later..." Stan answered Richie's question, "we should go to the cafeteria now." the curly headed one finished while hooking his arm in Bill's.
"So about earlier, everyone in your group has a soulmate, or soulmates, and then you have one kid who doesn't even have a streak? Well, I wouldn't like to be him." Richie said to the two boys. "W-why not?" Bill asked him. "How lonely would you feel if all your friends have soulmates, some of them even two," he said while nudging Bill's side, "and you don't even have a streak? Don't think that you would like that, huh?"
"Come on, we have to get to our table." Stan said while pulling on Bill's arm, "We have been sitting at the same table since we were freshmen, Beverly carved all our initials in the table." Stan told Richie. They entered the cafeteria and started walking to a table where a red haired girl and a kind of chubby guy were seated, they both had a bright green, almost neon, streak in their hair.
"Stannyboy, Billyboy, who's your friend?" the girl said to the two boys. Before one of them could answer the girl's question, Richie was already interrupting them. "Is this Beverly?" he asked the boys while pointing at the red head. "Yes, and that's Ben. Ben and Bev meet Richie, Richie meet Ben and Bev." Stan introduced the three people to eachother. "Hi!" the chubby one, now known as Ben, waved at Richie. Richie gave him a smile and went to sit down next to him.
"Who's gonna carve MY initials in this table?" the spectacled one asked. "You're joining The Losers?" Ben asked him. "Only if you want me to." he answered with a wink. Just as Beverly was about to take something out of her pocket, a little kid, who looked really mad, plopped in the seat across from Richie, which made all The Losers jump a bit.
"Guess who I ran in to on my way over here? Fucking Bowers, ugh I can't stand hi- who the fuck are you?" the boy stopped ranting and was now looking Richie dead in the eyes. "Wow easy there tiger. Normally I get called Richie...but your mom likes to call me other things." he smirked at the kid.
"Okay, who invited the jokester to our table?" the boy, who Richie now assumed was Eddie, asked looking around the table. "It was you two, wasn't it?" he said while pointing at Stan and Bill who were both flushed red. "Clearly I'm not welcome here anymore." Richie said while throwing his hands up in the air.
"Eddie calm down. If you get to know him, he's not that bad, besides the weird voices and the mom jokes." Stan tried to calm the boy down while Bill was giggling. Eddie huffed and crossed his arms over his chest while glaring at Richie. Richie winked at the boy and he saw how the boy started to blush at what Richie just did.
After eating lunch and talking for awhile, Beverly asked if Richie wanted to come with them to Mike's after school. "I get to meet the third dark red? Hell yeah! Well, I need to ask my parents first but normally it wouldn't be a problem." Richie fished his phone out of his pocket and called his dad. After telling him a bit about how school went and that he already made friends, he asked if he could go and he got permission. "W-wait a-at the b-b-bike racks a-after school. I-i-it's our m-meet up p-puh-place." the stuttering one said to Richie after he told them he got permission.
"Yeah we also wait there every morning until everyone's at school." Ben added. "Nice to know." Richie smiled at the kid. Man that kid was a sweetheart, he was going to be one of Richie's favorites. The bell rang and Richie started yanking his timetable out of his backpack, "Well, I'll see you Losers later." he said while starting to walk away, but slowly turned back around. "Does anyone know where chemistry is?" he asked the group. "I have chemistry now also, come on, I'll show you." Eddie said while grabbing Richie's wrist and guiding him through the crowded halls, when they were stopped by a group of dudes.
"Did lone wolf find a boyfriend?" a blonde guy with a mullet, with a light blue colored streak in his hair, said with a mocking tone. "Cut the shit Bowers, he's not my boyfriend." Eddie said while trying to push past them, still holding on to Richie's wrist. "Oh look, lone wolf's boyfriend is baby pink. What are you? A Nancy boy?" the blonde one scoffed at Richie. "Yeah, that's why I've been sucking your dad's dick." he answered with a smirk.
"You're dead new kid." the boy angrily said to Richie as he came closer. He was just about to lift his fist to meet Richie's face right when the principal walked by, "Hey Richie, I saw that you already made a couple of friends. I hope you like it here?" the man asked him. "I do, sir. Stan and Bill have been really nice to me so far." he smiled back at the man. They talked for a little while and then the principal nodded, smiled at Richie and told them that he needed to go. When Eddie and Richie turned back around the halls were cleared and Bowers and his goons had dissapeared.
"Why the fuck did you talk back to Bowers?" the smaller one whisper yelled as he was pulling Richie to class. Because of the talk Richie had with the principal, they were going to be late to class. When they arrived in chemistry, all eyes were on them. "Gentlemen, why are you two late?" a woman with thick, purple glasses and dark brown hair pulled back in a ponytail asked them. From the back of the class Eddie could hear some kid say "they were probably making out under the stairs or something." When he heard that he quickly let go of Richie's wrist, he didn't even know he was still holding onto.
"We ran into the principal and he asked me how my first day at this school has been going." Richie truthfully answered the teacher. She pointed at two seats next to eachother and told the boys to go sit in those ",you will be partners for the rest of the year." The boys moved to the chairs and Eddie let out a sigh when he went to sit down. "What's wrong, hot stuff? Don't wanna sit next to me?" He saw Eddie blush at the nickname. "Don't call me that.." the smaller one muttered under his breath. "Believe me Eds, you are going to love me." Richie said while he stretched himself out and turned to the front of the class, were the teacher was now explaining something.
