IT: Chapter II - It Ends

Lia's Pov
I slowly opened my eyes as the sunlight hit my face. Groaning, I turned around. I had barely slept last night because of the argument. This was so ridiculous and I had to talk to Ben about it. But when I turned around, I shot up. Why wasn't Liam in bed anymore?,,Maybe he's in the bathroom.",I thought, standing up. I walked to the bathroom and opened the door. No one was in here. My heart began beating so fast it hurt. Where was my son? Every bad scenario came to my mind and without thinking I ran downstairs.

The rest of the losers were there.,,Good morning to you.",Bill greeted me and I just looked around, panic rising.,,What's gotten into you?",Richie asked, ready to make a joke. I looked at him with the most serious look on my face I could muster without breaking down.,,Liam's not in the room. Have you seen him?",I replied, breathing heavily. They all looked at each other which was an answer enough. Oh god... I closed my eyes.,,We'll go look for him, alright? We will find him.",Meg promised as I just nodded. He couldn't be gone, could he? Where would he have gone? As I thought about it an idea popped into my head. I ran back upstairs into my room and looked for my shoes. Okay, my crazy thought was that Liam went to visit my brother, Henry. But he couldn't know where he possibly was, right? I never told him the truth. Just said that Henry was sick which he was in a way.

Then, my phone rang and my heart pounded out of my chest, at least it felt like it. I grabbed it and answered.,,Bowers, here.",I said and my heart dropped with the news I got.,,Ms. Bowers, sister of Henry Bowers?",a voice inquired.,,Yes. How can I help you?",I replied, putting on my shoes. Why was someone from the psychiatric home calling me? Was Liam there and they just wanted me to know?,,Your brother, Mr. Bowers killed and hurt others at the home and ran away.",the man said and now I realized that it was a police officer. My heart dropped and stopped at the same time. This couldn't be real. It was the safest place, wasn't it?,,H-he what? D-do you know where he is? If he's s-still in t-town?",I asked, sitting down on the bed. I started biting my nails. This was bad news. Really really bad and with Liam god knew where... What if Henry found him? What if... Pennywise... I couldn't breath. It was too much.,,That was why we're calling. Maybe you know a place where he could be.",the man answered.,,No, unfortunately, I don't. But if you find him, please tell me.",I said and it was the truth. There was no place Henry could've gone.,,Okay. Will do, Ms. Have a nice day.",the man meant and then hung up. I put my phone away and took deep breaths. All the worst case scenarios were running around in my head again.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. My head snapped into that direction.,,It's not real.",I thought but another knock told me that it was very real. Please, let it be one of my friends. I walked over, took a breath and opened the door.,,Liam!",I exclaimed when I saw my son. Without letting him say anything, I pulled him in for a hug.,,Oh my gosh! Where have you been? We talked about this!",I rattled down and looked at him. Eyeing him up and down and turning his head to see if he was okay, which he was.,,I found him a block away from here. Apparently he wanted to get breakfast.",a voice told me and I stood back up, looking at Ben.,,Sorry, Mommy. I wanted to surprise you.",Liam apologized, hugging my legs. I sighed and ran my hand through his hair.,,It's okay, little bird. Just tell me the next time, understood?",I told him and he nodded.,,Or I could go with one of your friends. Like Ben. He's funny.",Liam said and I looked at Ben who was smiling sheepishly.,,Oh is he? Go and get ready. We're going to get breakfast, together.",I suggested and smiled. Liam went into the bathroom and it was just Ben and I standing here.,,About yesterday..",he started.,,Don't. Let's forget about it.",I interrupted him, turning my head to the bathroom.,,He seems to like you. You should come with us.",I meant, looking back at him.,,I don't know. Don't wanna ruin family time.",Ben replied, making me giggle.,,You wouldn't. You and the others are family.",I said honestly.,,If that's the case, I'd be honored to accompany you two.",Ben answered and we both laughed. After that, Ben, Liam and I went out to eat breakfast. It was as if yesterday's argument never happened.
