Chapter Eight- Jim Meets Spock Prime

Jim waited in the transporter room. He saw his sister go this way, she must be coming back, right?! She has to come back! She... Serenity was all he had left. If there was one thing he ever feared, it was everyone he loved leaving him. So when Spock beamed up, he stood up quickly, looking frantically for his sister.
He saw fear and sadness in Spock, and his heart sank.

"Where is she?" Jim asked. Spock just hung his head and stared at the empty spots that his mother, and the woman he had come to adore, should have been. "Spock, where is my sister? She went down with you, I saw her go!" Jim slightly yelled. Spock looked up, and took a deep breath. Uhura came over to him to try to comfort him. She tried to kiss him, but he turned his head away from her. He now knew where his heart belonged: To the mysterious girl who died trying to save his mother. Uhura frowned, but hugged him once again.

"If there is anything you need, just let me know-" Uhura began. Spock brushed her off.
"I need everyone to continue acting admirably, " Spock said stoically. He left the transporter room with out another word. Jim on the other hand couldn't take it, and he fought against Spock about the ship's directory. Spock nerve-pinched Jim, and sent him to a nearby planet base, Delta Vega. Boy, was Jim in for a shock. Jim woke up to find himself in a pod on what appeared to be a frozen wasteland planet. A planet that just so happened to have deadly monsters that wanted to eat him! Fortunately, an older man waved a flaming torch at the monster, banishing it away. Jim ran into his cave, and panted.

"Thanks." Jim said, nearly breathless. The man seem to straighten and become happier with hearing his voice.

"James Tiberius Kirk, " said the older man happily, who judging by his ears, was a vulcan. Jim furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.

"I'm sorry, do I know you?" Jim asked. The man smiled, and held his hand in a vulcan salute.
"I have been, and shall always be, your friend and brother." Jim just looked at him.
"Who are you?" Jim asked.
"I am Spock."
