When Spock opened his eyes, he found that he was no longer in Serenity's bed. Sitting next to him, watching him fondly, and hugging her knees to her chest, was Serenity.
"Hello love, we did it, " Serenity told him proudly. Spock sat up and looked around at what seemed to be a forest.
"Where are we? " Spock asked. Serenity smiled.
"Spock... Welcome to the Anomaly Dimension. All creatures who are born as an anomaly are automatically given access to this dimension. Very little if at all is known in your world about this secret sanctuary. This place lies between all other dimensions. When an anomaly mates, he or she does so for all eternity. His/her mate now bound to him/her, and now this world is accessible to them. It allows your soul to connect to mine, and if a situation ever came to pass where you needed my body to house your soul, I would do so with no hesitation while your body was being repaired, or recreated. An anomaly lives forever, and unfortunately for me, my life started at the beginning of time, " Serenity explained. " I have lived alone for far too long. I love you, my Thy'la."
"Ashayam du, " Spock returned. He closed his eyes, and he kissed her. When he opened his eyes again, he found that they had returned to Serenity's bed chamber. Serenity laid in bed beside him, her arms wrapped around him, fast asleep.
