I, Jennie Kim, am a solo Korean Artist. I am one of the most popular celebrity in Korea. I am really grateful for the fans who have been with me until this day. They gave me strength and courage. It sure is great being a popular idol. You will receive a lot of praise, the income is great, most people treat us really good like sometimes we have receive freebies or discounts if the clerk or cashier is one of our fans. People smiles just by seeing us which it felt good since we felt love by them.

BUT... everything have its disadvantage. Not everything good does not came with something bad. It is like world needs to be balance so if you have good in the right side then surely bad is in your left side.

And yes, being a popular idol have its bad side too. We don't only receive love but also hate. We don't only receive praises but also criticize. Most of the people we have seen were smiling but there are still few who will scowl at us.

To tell you the truth, it was hard being a popular idol. People look up to you. Some people think we are a god or goddess. Some people think we are perfect. It is hard to show your faults or mistakes because some people can't accept you because we happened to be someone they don't think we are.

There are also some people who loves us and will blindly look at our mistakes or internally deny that we did something bad.

There are also few people who love us too much or would I rather say obsess with us. We call it here in Korea as sasaengs or in general speaking as stalkers. They will follow and approach us inappropriately. They will contact us in our private number and SNS which we don't know how they even got it in the first place. It is scary or even horrifying. Few people might say we can just change our numbers and SNS accounts but damn we have already tried it. We are not fools but every god damn time there are still people who will get it again and again to contact us. It is tiring to change it every time since we need to inform our family and friends that we change it again. Can they just respect our privacy? We are human too and we need privacy and space for us to breathe.

I joined the Music Entertainment to show my music, my voice, and my talent. Music is a peaceful sound to hear which we want to produce. However, why I am hearing noise in return? Noises as in those bad things which I am talking about. I want to sing but how can people hear me if there are too much noise? How can I be heard?

I am tired and I need a break.
