Demi sat down next to you in the airplane seat. Her hand was wrapped in yours and she had the biggest smile on her face, one that would usually melt your heart - if you weren't so anxious.

"Are you excited?" She grinned and you put on your best fake smile, hiding your hands from her as they shook out of pure fear and anxiety.

She surprised you by telling you that she got permission to bring you on tour with her and at first you were really excited, but now not so much.

You're excited to go on tour with her but the flight there, however, was a totally different story. You hate heights and you've always tried to hide that fear from Demi.

Somehow, you got on the plane. But you already want off.

"Y/n? Are you okay?" She put her hand on your shoulder and you jumped, but you jumped even more when you heard the pilots voice on the intercom.

"N-No. I need off. I need to get off!" You panicked, suddenly wishing you would've been upfront with Demi sooner so you wouldn't be in this predicament now.

"Y/n, hey, shh. It's okay, just calm down." Demi put her hands on your legs. You looked up at her, gazing deeply into her soft brown eyes that were filled with worry.

"I don't like heights. I need off, Demi. I can't do it, I can't." Tears were streaming down your cheeks. Demi wiped them away, her thumbs softly stroking your cheeks.

"You can, princess. You can do it. I'm here with you. I won't let anything happen to you, okay?" You took her hands that were on your cheeks and laced them with yours.

You squeezed them hard as the plane took off. Demi whispered words of comfort and reassurance as it did.

"See? We're in the air now, it's okay." You went to look out the window but Demi let one of your hands go and cupped your cheek, turning it so you couldn't look out the window and freak yourself out more.

"Look at me, okay? Take some deep breaths with me." She could still sense your anxiety and so she took deep breaths with you. She smiled when she saw your shoulders drop a little as you started to relax.

She sat back in her seat and pushed the armrest up. You leaned your head on her shoulder and Demi's arm wrapped around your waist. Although a little uncomfortable, she was still holding you and that made you happy.

"What can I do to make this easier on you, princess? You tell me, I'll do it right now." You let go of a heavy breath and smiled at the thought of the one thing that always calmed you down.

"Sing to me."

And so, she did.

Demi started to sing to you, although quietly so she wouldn't disturb anyone else in your section.

"Have I told you about all the things I plan on doing with you at our first stop on tour?" She asked a few minutes later.

Paris. The first stop on the tour, and possibly the one you're most excited for.

You lifted your head and saw the sparkles in your girlfriends beautiful brown eyes. You giggled and shook your head at her.

And, for the next hour, Demi told you about all the things she wanted to do for and with you in the city of love.

And when she finished talking about that city, she started talking about the next. And it kept you distracted till you landed just a few hours later. And Demi made sure you knew how proud she was of you for overcoming your fear.

It was all thanks to her. And you kissed her a few times, telling her over and over how she was the reason why you were able to do it. How with her by your side, you could do anything.
