Demi jumped when she heard the sound of you yelling and swearing loudly coming from downstairs.

She ran down the stairs to find you and your friend in the living room, both of you clearly angry.

"What's going on down here?" Demi said from the staircase. "She cheated at the game!"

"No, I didn't! I won fair and square. you're just too much of a sore loser to admit it!" Out of frustration, she pushed you back and it only fueled your anger.

"Don't push me!" You yelled and pushed her back, much harder than she pushed you but you couldn't help it. You were angry and once you became angry it was hard to control it.

She was in shock. Her emotions got the best of her and the next thing you knew she was shoving you, both of you trying to gain control as you both fought hard for it. You pulled her hair making her yell out.

Demi stood in shock for a moment at what was happening right in front of her eyes, but when you raised your hand up to hit your friend she ran to you and grabbed your arms to hold you back.

You were furious, absolutely seething with anger. "You need to go." She told your friend and nodded towards the door making your friend roll her eyes. "Fine! Why would I wanna be around you anyway? You're acting crazy!" She grabbed her things and walked out the door.

You screamed and pulled out of Demi's arms. You grabbed a picture frame from the coffee table and threw it at the wall, reaching for another when Demi took it out of your hands. "No! Don't."

She understood how you felt. It's not your fault, it's not like you can control your anger issues, even though you desperately wish you could. She pulled you into her arms and held you as you started to cry.

"I'm sorry! I hate that I let this get the best of me. I'm so sorry, Demi." She shook her head silently and started to rub your back.

She knew all you needed right now was comfort and reassurance. She's been in this kind of situation with you before. You don't need to be told it's wrong because you're already aware. But still, you can't control it.

"It's alright. I understand. Let's just sit down and take a few deep breaths, okay? I'm here with you." You sniffled as you sat on her lap on the couch.

She waited a few minutes to let you gain control of your emotions before she spoke again. "Always remember that I don't judge you for having anger issues. I know that you can't really control them. Whatever happens, you can always count on me. You know I love you no matter what."

You nodded and put your head back on her shoulder, feeling grateful that she understood. You felt so lucky to have her.
