Bittersweet Birthday

Hello everyone. As regarding my passion for the movie « the chronicles of Narnia » and the fact that I deeply fell in love with the fictional character of Edmund Pevensie, I decided to write a fiction about it. Well none of these characters belong to me except my Oc Pearl. The first part of the story will reflect a peace of my dark past so I also wanted to write this fiction because it's a way for me to deal with it. Anyway I am not a native speaker guys so I may have made some mistakes and I would be glad if you could correct me. I don't mind any constructive critics but I don't feel like I can put up with some comments such as " You are sick in the head for writing this or go kill yourself" (because it happened to me once  while I was writing my other books) . Anyway I will cut the chit-chat and here we go guys.Also Edmund will be older than you think in this story, he will be around 23 years old and there will be some adult contents so if you don't feel comfortable with it then maybe you'd better not read it.

It was already late in the afternoon, the sun was above her head and she couldn't bear the scorching heat. She was heading back home after studying all day. She stepped in her house and no one was there to greet her so she inhaled deeply and rushed to the small room that she shared with her sibling. She opened it and immediately bounded on heir bed. What a rude journey at the university. She rubbed her forehead and stuck her phone out of her pocket just in order to check if her boyfriend actually remembered that today was her birthday as she received absolutely nothing.

It didn't really surprised her since he kept neglecting her and never in his miserably life had he led any interest about her likes, her hobbies or her occupations. She was sometimes wondering why she accepted to date him at the first place. Again she sighed in defeat and fell deeply asleep. Her name was Pearl Collin and she was born in 17 Mai 1996. She lived in New York with her middle class family. Sure they weren't the richest one but she considered herself as lucky as regarding the way her elder sister Melody and her parents would treat her. She had a dark and long raven hair, two honey orbs and a tall figure. Everyone would always mistake her for an Asian girl which was partly true because her mother was a half-Indonesian beauty. She was far from being slim and slender; actually it's the other way around. She wasn't also fat but just in the middle the reason why her boyfriend would always belittle her and laugh at her in front of his family. He wouldn't miss any occasion to remind her, her weight and her huge tight whereas the other men would compliment her for her curves but still it did really hurt when the one you used to love would hurt you over and over again and wouldn't accept you for who you are.

She was still sleeping when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She opened her eyes to see her elder sister. A lovely browned haired woman who was in her late twenties. Like Pearl, she also had two honey orbs and due to their similarities, people always tend to mix them.

"Why did you wake me up Melody?" Pearl rubbed her eyes

"Come on, get ready we are going out because we have a lot to celebrate" Melody smiled

"Such as?" Pearl rubbed her head

"Your birthday and for some other reason that I will tell you later" the elder sister beamed in excitement.

"Alright, I will take a quick shower and get ready" Pearl jumped from her bed as Melody kissed her on cheek before departing. The raven haired girl opened her closet and drew some outfits from it. She then undressed herself and went to the bathroom in order to taker a shower. Then she dried herself with a towel and headed back to her room. She wore her underwear, a black destroyed skinny jeans, a black tank top and black leather jacket. She put some eyeliner on her eyelid while being careful so that it won't be too thick as she let her long raven hair cascaded on her shoulder. Her sister burst in without knocking.
