The dining room fell in a terrible silence.

"They left yesterday and they are coming tomorrow" Peter added as Susan froze.

"But Susan and Caspian's wedding will only take place in 7 days. What's the rush? It doesn't make sense" Edmund was astounded

"Unfortunately I also have a bad news for you Edmund" Peter closed his eyes "The princess Scheherazade will also stay here until the wedding ceremony".

Edmund almost choked on his food "Are you playing some kind of horror prank? "

"I am afraid I am not "Peter had a stern voice. Edmund wanted to say something but this time it was Susan who interfered

"I don't want to see him anymore Peter, not after what happened last time when we invited him in our castle" Susan buried her face in her palm while Caspian tried to comfort her by wrapping his strong arm around her.

"I am afraid I can't decline their request. Either way, they would know it and since we aren't in great relationship with them, refusing their request is like a war declaration. I am far from being fine with this situation as well" Peter explained.

"Easy for you to say because nobody is going to stick you up all the time" Edmund replied obviously annoyed.

"Dearest, it's going to be alright. Nothing wrong will happen to you. He won't touch you anymore, I will protect my lovely bride to be with all my heart" Caspian kissed Susan's forehead who in return nodded at what he said.

"There is one thing that I am sure is that we can't trust these Calormen and we need to stay cautious. This prince is up to no good" Edmund took another bit of his toast.

"I would have said that you are worrywart Ed, but this time you are right" the valiant queen put her salt in.

"Well this is settled then let's prepare everything for their arrival" Peter stated as nobody was in fairy land.

Everyone was eating his breakfast silently before departing. Susan was seeking for new decorations for the ballroom; Lucy was busy away trying to figure out any natural remedies, Peter and Caspian were examining the financial situation of CairParavel, Edmund was training with his army while Pearl was in the kitchen with Babbity and the others.

While, they were doing the dishes, tons of questions were trotting down her mind. What happened between the Calormen and the Royalties in Narnia? Why they didn't want that this prince Rabadash and her sister attend the wedding ceremony? She couldn't take it anymore so she gave a try and asked Babbity.

"Babbity, mind you if I ask you something?" She finally said

"Go ahead sweetie" the Rabbit smiled cheerfully

"Well, this morning the high king received a letter saying that the Calormen prince and princess will stay here and attend the wedding ceremony of Susan and Caspian but no one seemed to be thrilled about this news. It's actually the other way around. I couldn't figure why?" Pearl asked while washing the dishes.

"It's due to the fact that the Prince Rabadash used to woo the gentle queen and asked her to marry him but she turned him down by refusing his proposal" Babbitysadly stated

"Oh so that's about it" Pearl sighed

"There is more about it. The prince Rabadash is a spoiled brat and he never takes a "no" as a response. So, he got furious after the rejection of Susan thus his army assaulted the castle in the hope of kidnapping the gentle queen and forcing her to submit to his proposal. But being the brilliant general and king that Edmund is, he had already thought about a battle plan and could defeat the army of Rabadash. But unfortunately, the just king also got involve with something that he truly hates" Cornelia the maid piped in, gaining the attention of Pearl and the talking rabbit.
