Here is thé new chapter guys

It had finally arrived. The day when the gentle queen and the king Caspian would become husband and wife. Since Susan wanted it to be a memorable day, the wedding would set to be spectacular and thank to the tireless help of the valiant queen and Pearl, it was a real success. Everyone would gossip and talk about it not only their subject in the castle but also the whole Cair Paravel and its habitant. The noise was trickling up the whole castle and everywhere in the street. Everyone was actually eager to see and most of all to attend a "royal wedding". Every noble was making their way to the cathedral which was built not far from the golden castle. They were dressed in their finest clothes and were more than happy to witness one of the greatest events of their lives. As regarding the way they smile, they must have thanked god for granting them this opportunity.

It was hard to believe that a simple wedding could lead to such an uproar but then Pearl recalled that it was the Iron Age. The time when luxury and wealth used to enslave people and this wedding was a way for them to show off. As far as she knew, you weren't allowed to talk back and you had no right unless you were the child of a noble or someone important. In order to see the king and the queen you also required an audience which may take days even months. Pearl grunted at the thought and made her way to the room of the bride where she was commissioned to go.

She knocked at the door and heard Susan shifting slightly inside.

"You may come in" she said. Pearl sheepishly open the door and saw the bride peacefully sitting in one of her plush chair whereas Lucy was sitting next to her. Four maids were actually braiding their hairs, paying extra attention to every detail of it. Unlike Lucy, Susan fancied complex hairstyle and would be really demanding toward her hairdresser. It was certainly meant to drawn all the attention on her but Pearl shook her head and chased her thought away.

"Were you zoning out again?" the voice of the gentle queen snapped her out of her reverie. She then realized that she was staring blankly at the wall.

"I would like to address you my sincere apologies your highness. I was just eager to attend this huge event" Pearl plastered a smile on her face.

"Well I asked you to come here because I have a surprise for you" Susan grinned as her hairdresser was done braiding their hairs. As soon as they left the room, Susan stood up and made her way to her wardrobe while Lucy took a glimpse at herself in the mirror and twirled her lovely gown in a childish way. She was absolutely radiant in a gown of scarlet frilled with white lace. Its sleeve was made in the old fashioned way and her red hair was spilled over her shoulders whereas her face was barely supporting a pink make up but it actually matched her lovely ivory skin.

"How do I look Pearl?" Lucy brushed her hair with her finger

"You look breathtaking" Pearl commented in a delightful way when she felt something on her neck. She brushed the delicate fabric with her hand and realized that it was a silver necklace with a ruby in its center.

"You helped us a lot during the preparation of the wedding so take it as way to show you our gratitude" Susan handed her a lovely gown.

"Your highness I........" Pearl was cut off

"We don't take a no as a response" Lucy spoke again while settling a silver crown over her head.

Pearl went on her knees and bowed in front of the two queens "I am really grateful and I feel honored to be gifted by such valuable presents your highness". Susan and Lucy mentioned her to stand up.

"Well girls, how do I look like?" Susan asked while being suddenly nervous. Pearl studied her from her hair to her feet. The gentle queen chose a silver gown made of satin which designs was more obvious than Lucy's garb. Her sleeves were tight and adorned with lacework. As for the waistline, Susan chose ten strands of pearls. Pearl's eyes kept ascending and saw the low neckline. It wasn't so low to the point of being considered as immodest but rather elegant with the pearls that actually outlined it whereas the veil was covering her face.
