"Wake up!" My mom yelled as she shook me violently.

"But I don't wanna get out of bed." I moaned from under my pillow.

"Wake up! Now! Or I'll get the damn bucket." She threatened. When I was smaller she used to throw a bucket of ice water on me just to get me to get out of bed.

"You wouldn't. You love me way too much." I mocked but she proved me wrong. Within seconds I was out of bed gasping for air as the ice cold water washed over my warm body.

"Wh-why would y-you do th-th-that?!" I said rubbing my arms for warmth.

"It's the third time you were refusing to get up." She said as if it were obvious as hell. I shot her a glare. She just laughed and walked out of my room. But before she closed the door she peeked her head through the opening and said, "Get ready for school quick. Unless you want another ice bucket."

I could've sworn I did that ice bucket challenge almost every day when I was a kid.

"Yeah, whatever." I replied my mom before she walked out. So I just grabbed my black jeans, white shirt, leather jacket and black sneakers. I really like black. Then I ran to the bathroom for a nice, warm shower.

----------

"Bye mom. See you after school." I said before opening the door and climbed out of the car.

"Wait!" She yelled after me before I could close the door, "What time should I pick you up?"

"I don't know when I'll be done with the exam. But I'll text you when I'm finished." I said before waving her off and walking into the front gate of the school.

Today was going to be one long day.

I walked into the classroom we were writing exams in. I sat down in my seat, and I was ten minutes early so I just listened to the group of kids next to me.

"-well tell him. Please."

Then Charly said, "No, he might reject me. I really like him. But he barely realizes me." Aww - poor Charly. She was beautiful, she was tall, with black hair and chocolate brown eyes and a amazing body. But the best of all, she's nice, she treats people like people and not like crap. Like most beautiful girls.

My jaw dropped when she said, "Okay fine, but if he rejects me, I'll kill you." then walked over to me, Tristan. "Hey, Tristan."

"Hey. Wait y-you know my name?" I said readjusting my sitting position.

"Yeah." She laughed a bit, "Do you, like, wanna catch a movie or something sometime?" She said and blushed a little. I can't believe she likes me.

"Yeah. Sure." I said, not really knowing how to react. Then she squealed and I nearly jumped out of my seat. Her squealing voice is high, like really high.

"Sorry." Charly said with her hand over her mouth.

"It's okay." I said with a warm smile.

----------

After the exams I walked out and immediately turned my phone on. I sighed as I walked to the front gate.

"Hey Tristan, wait up!" Charly yelled from behind me. I turned around to face her. "I just wanted to know when you're available for that movie."

"How about tomorrow?" I asked with a shrug.

"Can't wait." Charly replied with a squeal. And I jumped a little again. "Sorry." She apologized again. "I think I have to go now." She said leaving the awkward conversation.

"See ya tomorrow then." I said waving her off. Lifting my phone, I saw that it was up and running, I texted my mom to come get me.

I leaned back against the wall. Watching the cars go by. I realized that a dark van pulled up at the school. I started to feel uneasy, I've seen these kind of movies. I stood up and prepared myself to run incase needed. The side door slid open and three big guys, with tattoos and everything that screams trouble, climbed out.
They walked over to me and I decided running was my best option. Only problem was that the only exit was through the guys. I ran, hoping to make it out alive. I ducked three bat swings but when I thought I was home free, I got a blow to the back of the head. And darkness took over my sight.
