"Here?" John asked as he pulled up at the house address Carly sent me.

"Yup. It's what the text says." I said looking at my phone to make sure we didn't have the wrong house. When we stopped I opened my door and said, "Wait here I'll be right back." He just nodded and I went to her front door.

I knocked and heard her yell in the background, "Coming!"
After a good two minutes the door finally opened, "Hey, Tristan!" She greeted.

"Carly. You look amazing." I said. She had a black T, black skinny jeans and a black pair of sneakers. "I love black, you know?"

"Awesome. Me too." She said with a big smile.

"Shall we?" I asked showing to the car.

Her jaw dropped, "Is that a-" she asked, but I cut her short.

"Lamborghini? Yes." I finished her sentence.

"Well? What are we waiting for?" She said with a massive smile. She held out her arm and we locked in.

We sat down. I, being me, let her drive in front. "So, you’re the famous Carly." John greeted.

"Is this your car?" She asked and John nodded in agreement. "That's awesome." She said stroking the dash. I just laughed, falling back into my seat.

"Let's party." I said and John drove off to the mystery club. There was silence on the way. We were in the driveway, but we could hear the music.

We climbed out, I helped Carly and John laughed. "Thanks." She said and we went into the club. As the doors opened the loud music hit us, "Let's go dance!" Carly yelled to me over the loud music.

"With me?" I yelled back at her.

"Yeah!" She yelled and grabbed my wrist, pulling me through the crowd and onto the dance floor.

After four songs I was tired and yelled, "I'm going to get a drink. Be right back." She nodded and I made my way through the crowd again.

"You've got moves." A girl to my left said.

"Thanks." Then I turned to the bartender, "Make that two shots of vodka." I flashed a smile towards her.

"My names Cassady, by the way." She said as the bartender placed the shots in front of us.

I took mine in my hand and said, "Tristan."

"Nice to meet you, Tristan." and we downed our shots. "Wanna dance?" She asked and I took her hand, leading her to the dance floor. Just as we stood still, ready to start dancing, the song changed into a slow song.

I felt my face turn hot and I saw she was blushing as well. When she saw me, we exchanged big smiles and stepped closer, starting to slow dance. She rested her head on my chest as we moved with the song. After the song we parted and I could see the disappointment in her eyes.

I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned around only to find John. He yelled, "It's three in the morning! We need to go!" I nodded and took one last look at Cassady.

"Hope I'll see you around soon!" I said and she gave me a big smile. I leaned in and gave her a light kiss on the cheek. She bit down on her lip and our eyes met, just then John pulled me away and I waved as she disappeared in the crowd.

"Nice catch dude." He said as we walked to the car. I hadn't realized it till I saw John and Carly parted but they held hands. I climbed into the back seat and looked at them with a half smile. They were staring into each other’s eyes.

"So you two found each other..." I said and they started laughing. "Tonight was great and apparently not just for me."
We drove home, John walked Carly to her door. He smiled all the way to our house from there. Poor guy, he's love struck.
We walked into the front door, only to find John's dad sitting and waiting for us. "Oh hi Mister Olsen." I greeted, hoping he wasn't too angry.

"Hello, boys. How much did you drink?" he went straight to the point, like he always did.

"Not much, Sir. I only had one shot of vodka." I said
"Only one?" John asked almost laughing. "I had like four." He confessed.

"You know I don't like drinking." I said.
"As long as you didn't drink too much. Run along and get to bed." He ordered and we ran upstairs.

"You drove us home on four shots of vodka?" I whispered harshly.

"Relax dude. I need like ten before I start getting drunk." he promised, then walked into his room.

Before I could walk into my room Mrs Olsen stopped me, "Oh hi, Mrs Olsen." I greeted.

"Can we talk?" She said. So I closed the door and stepped into the hall. "You’re 17, correct?" She asked and I nodded in agreement.

"You need to go to school. We enrolled you in a art school." She said and I stared at her in confusion.

"Why an art school?" I asked.

"Your mom said you can draw pretty good." She said.

"And John? What school does he go to?"

"The same school. He studies music. You'll just study visual art." I just nodded with each word.

"So when do I start?" I asked. Honestly, I'm kind of excited.

"Monday," she said, "I'm glad to see you’re not mad." She said walking back into her room. I just shrugged it off and went into my room.

After getting ready for bed I fell down on my bed and started thinking about Cassady. I didn't even get her number. I really hope we will bump into each other again. She seemed like a really nice girl.

And with that thought, I fell asleep.
I dreamt that I was in a dark room. Then a door opened, Jason (the guy who kidnapped me) stepped closer. He had a evil smile on his face. I wanted to punch him, but my hands and feet were tied up. He took out a dagger and stabbed me in my leg. As it went into my leg I shot up in cold sweat. I was out of breath. John and Mrs Olsen ran into my room.

"What's wrong? I heard screaming!" John said. Was I screaming?
"It-it's nothing just a, uh, bad dream." I said rubbing my eyes. Miss Olsen sat down next to me and rubbed my back. I felt tears in my eyes. "I'm okay." I said in a scratchy voice.

"I'm sorry." Mrs Olsen said pulling me into a hug. She gasped as her hand went over the scar on my back. She stood up and lifted my shirt taking a look at my back. She covered her mouth. I felt bad because she had to see that. I don't like people seeing it. I pulled the shirt back down to cover it up.

"Sorry, I don't like people staring at it." I said, shyly.
"It's okay." She said, "I guess you better go to sleep now - it's already six in the morning. We'll wake you up at-" she went on but I cut her short.

"It's okay, I usually wake up at six." I insured her and got out of bed. I quickly grabbed a towel and covered my legs, I have an even bigger, uglier scar on my leg.

They went out to let me finish and I let out a sigh as the door closed behind them. Today is Sunday.

After taking a shower and getting ready I ran downstairs and met up with John and Mrs Olsen. "What are we doing today?" I asked jumping into the kitchen.

"We're going to the beach." John replied with a smile.
"Awesome." I said grabbing a bowl. I sat down and grabbed the box of cereal. "Do you mind if I went by the store before we get to the beach?" I asked pouring in the milk.

He nodded then swallowed the cereal, "Sure, what do you need?" he asked loading his spoon for the next bite.

"A wetsuit and a surfboard." And with that their jaws dropped.

"You know how to surf?" he asked.

I shook my head, "No but I signed myself up for lessons." I said taking a bite of the my cereal.
