it's cold out.
"soo you've lived here your whole life? here in jersey?"
"yup. all my life. i want to move though. somewhere new. where no one knows me or my past you know?"
"yeah, i get that feeling sometimes."
"how about you?"
"me?" andrew asks.

andrews pov*
"me?" i pause.
"all my life i've lived all around new jersey just moving one place to another. it was difficult at first but now...it's not."
"wow." venus says.
"yeah."
"my dad wants to stay here. we both like it here but because of my dads job i don't think we can but  hes trying to convince his boss to let him stay here."
"well hopefully you don't leave."
"yeah...i like it here, i really do."
i lean in closer to venus.
her cold hands lock in with mine.
i had been all over jersey and met so many people it was crazy. i've had over 6 girlfriends within a 3 year spam. it's a lot to me but i like to keep that to myself and say less or just none. they all broke up with me except two of them. both i had to end because of me having to move. it was nice while it lasted. it really was. toxic at one point you could say, a cheater that i gave too many chances to...to the point where she left for another and all. family problems too. dad goes out sometimes comes back drunk wanting to hurt me. i don't talk about it though becasue i know no one will pay attention. i'll be an "attention seeker" but that's not what i want.
"so what do you want to do with your life then? like after high school and all?" i ask.
"i want to leave. i need a breath of fresh air and all. new people, new things...to see and stuff."
"i guess."
we talk for hours looking at the sky above and just laying there.
"look it was nice being here with you."
"yeah it was huh. well...." i say grabbing her hand.
her eyes lock with mine.
"what?" she giggles.
"you're pretty."
"thank you."
"well like i was saying...we should do this again."
"we should."
she let's go walking back to her car.
"BYEE!!"
"bye." i say.

venuss pov*
2 hours later*
"which one?"
"the red one."
"you think it'll look good on me?"
"yesss."
"you're just saying that because you're my friend."
"ok then you look ugly."
"AYONIE!"
"i'm kidding...it looks good i swear."
"i'll buy it then."

"ok bought."
"i don't know how you can do online shopping. shopping in person is better."
"eh."
"well i gotta go." ayonie says.
