The Fight

"If (Y/n) Bonteri doesn't come before me I will kill this man." The Seventh Sister said through the holomessage.

I felt my heart stop as I saw Lando with cuffs around his hands and a blaster aimed at him.

"Meet me where we first met, or he dies. Bring anyone else and I will kill him." She said with a smile as she put her blade to his neck.

The message ended and I turned to look at Kanan.

"It's a trap." Kanan said calmly.

"I know, but I can't allow him to die." I said softly.

"We will come with-"

"No, this is something I have to do. You all focus on the attack and I'll deal with her." I said as I turned and walked away.

"Be safe." Ezra said softly.

I nodded my head and left the tent. I felt a hand grab me and I turned to look at Kanan.

"Please be safe." He said softly.

"I will-"

"I mean it. (Y/n), I know I've been hard on you and I know you think I hate you... but I don't. It's the opposite. I think of you as a sister and your loss... it would crush me." He said softly.

"Kanan I know.... but I also know that if I don't go... if I don't fight her... I will always hold onto my past and she will always win." I said softly.

"Be safe, and return to us." He said as he hugged me.

When I arrived at the meeting place I saw her sitting on a rock and watching Lando.

"Let him go." I ordered.

She smiled as she turned and looked at me.

"Hello my apprentice." She said softly.

"I'm here, now let him go." I ordered.

"Sorry my dear but neither you or him are making it out of this alive." She said with a smile.

I ignited my saber and she climbed off the rock and walked towards me.

"(Y/n)! Just leave me!" Lando yelled.

"No, I am not leaving anyone ever again." I said sternly.

I heard the Seventh sister's lightsaber ignite and I got ready to fight her. She soon charged at me and I dodged her attacks. I smiled as I threw the Seventh sister back and spun my blades around. I soon pinned her to the ground with my blade at her neck.

"Do it." She growled out.

"I'm done fighting who I am.... I'm fine trying to act like I'm something I'm not. I am no Inquisitor, and I am no Jedi. I'm a rebel... and you will never hurt those I love again." I said as I stabbed her through the chest.

I walked over to Lando and uncuffed him.

"I'm sorry about all of this-"

I was cut off by him pulling me into a hug. I gently hugged him back before pulling away from him.

"What was that for?" I asked softly.

"A thank you, for saving me." He said with a smile.

"I... um... your welcome."

We soon made it back to the base and I heard someone scream my name.

"(Y/n)!"

I looked to the voice and saw Maia running at me, she tackled me into a hug and I let out a laugh as I hugged her back.

"I thought I lost you." She whispered.

"Please I'm to stubborn to die." I said softly.

"Well I must be off." Lando said softly.

"Hopefully if we meet again it won't be with one of us at the end of a blaster." I said as I led him to his ship.

"Hopefully." He said softly.

We stopped at his ship and he turned to look at me.

"I owe you again, (Y/n)." He said as he sent me a smile.

"I was just doing my jo-"

I was cut off by him pulled me into kiss. I felt my eyes flutter shut as I gently kissed him back. He pulled away and I heard a growl from behind me.

"Hands off Calrissian!" A voice yelled.

"Until we meet again." Lando said as he gently kissed my cheek before turning and climbing onto his ship.

I smiled as I shook my head and turned to stop Zeb from following him.

"Calm down Pops." I said with a laugh.

"He touches you again and I'll-"

"I know, murder him. Come on let's go check on the others." I said softly.

We made it to the others and I let out a laugh as Ezra hugged me. Kanan sent me a smile and nodded his head.
