Minhyuk and Jooheon were cute together. It still made me sad knowing that the one person I wanted, in the same way, didn't see anything and wouldn't accept me back.

The two had talked a lot. Mostly Minhyuk reminiscing on the past about the stupid shit he and I did our first year. Jooheon smiled a lot, but whenever the conversation got a little more serious he looked scary.

"Why did you two stop talking for so long?" Jooheon asked Minhyuk and me. I glanced at Minhyuk to see who was going to speak. When he looked at me too I assumed I could answer.

"We just kinda grew apart after the end of our first year," I said.

"I wish we hadn't, but it's okay now. We'll change that. You should come over sometime. You could meet my roommates!" Minhyuk seemed very excited at the thought of me meeting his friends.

"Yeah. Just text me when you are all free."

"Alright. Hey! I'll be right back!" leaving Jooheon and me in silence, the tall male stood up and walked towards another guy about the same height as him, but definitely more muscular. I took my phone out, remembering that Changkyun had responded earlier.

Kyunie~
You have nothing to be
sorry for. I should be
thanking you for caring
about me so much. I could
never be mad at you for
being an amazing best
friend.

I looked up at Jooheon, who was still watching Minhyuk. The feeling of a single tear rolling down my face. Quickly, I dried my cheek and put the phone away, knowing it would make me cry. To ensure I didn't, I looked at the ceiling until Minhyuk came back.

"Hey, Hoseok, this is Hyunwoo!" Minhyuk said, happily walking over with the man he had gone to talk to and drinks in their hands.

"Oh, hello." I greeted and smiled, taking the drink put in front of my face. Honestly thankful that they had brought drinks.

"Hello," Hyunwoo said calmly. He seemed used to Minhyuk's hyper personality.

I took a sip and asked, "how do you two know each other?"

"Mutual friends. Was quite interesting when I first met him," He chuckled.

The four of us continued talking and drinking until Kihyun found me wanting to go home. With the amount of alcohol I had in my system by then, I couldn't remember much more than him struggling to get me to the car.

The sun. Oh god, the sun. It was so bright as Kihyun opened the curtains.

"You're lucky you don't have a class until noon, but you still need to get up cause that only gives you an hour to get ready." He said.

"Why do you do this to me? Please shut the curtains." I held my hand to my head as the pain got worse from the sun.

"Shut them yourself. At least you'll be awake."

"You hate me."

"Nope. Oh, I don't know if you remember, but you kept worrying about Changkyun not answering you last night, so when I called him I told him to check." Kihyun left the room to get ready for his own day after that.

"What? I never messaged him back, though." I thought as I looked around the room for my phone that was on the charger, which I knew was thanks to Kihyun. I opened the message notification from Changkyun and looked at the previous texts before reading the new one.

Me
I really do care for you a

lot. More than you could
know. You are such a
beautiful person. You're
talented as hell and very
good-looking. Like how do
you look that good all the
time? I love you. So much.
You've been through a lot,
and I want to always be
there for you. I never
want to see a day without
you. I wish I could be next
to you every moment. When
I'm not with you I'm still
thinking of you.

Kyunie~

Thank you.

"Oh shit! What the fuck did I do? He knows. He's going to hate me now." Thoughts ran through my head as I imagined how he would avoid me or just tell me to leave him alone.

"Are you okay?" Kihyun yelled from the other room.

I wanted to cry. "No." I choked out. Kihyun came into the room seconds after I replied.

"What happened, hyung?" I handed him the phone, still displaying the messages. I stared at my hands as he read. Images of Kyun walking away from me showed in my head.

"Okay. This can be played off. That or you can just confess, Hoseok," Kihyun said.

"I can't lose him," I replied quietly. Looking up at Kihyun who was standing directly in front of me. He nodded and looked back down at the phone to reread the message.

"There is a chance that he didn't take it as a confession. You were emotional. You said something like it to me too. I have my first class with him today. If he asks about it, I'll tell him that, but if he doesn't ask I will say nothing about it to not bring suspicion to it. Okay? Don't worry. It will be fine." Kihyun reassured me. He was always good at fixing situations, but I've never done anything like this that he's had to help me with. I held back from crying as he hugged me before giving me the phone and leaving to get to class.

"I'll text you, hyung. Don't worry." He yelled before shutting the front door behind him.
